What is the easiest way to learn about socionics, in your opinion?
What websites, books, etc. would you recommend?

I think Danielle is right. Here's the Socionics in the West Getting Started page.
[Edit: Also, you can ask questions on this forum. It'll give the people around here something else to do other than arguing about each other's type.]
Quaero Veritas.
I learded a lot in real life. You don't need to know about functions etc to start with socionics. Just the fact that there are 16 different types and the obvious dichotomies will get you far. You can then translate things into your own experiences and words, which is less confusing then reading stuff that is interpretable in different ways. You can learn more from knowing a certain (real life) type then reading thousand words that are supposed to describe that type.
Though it also depends on the reason you want to learn. You like reading about theorie, or you want to start searching for your dual. Practice always learns fastest is my experience.
