She does even come across as one.
Therefore I don't think she should be involved in such a project.
I think the reason why Cone contradicted himself was because he realized that he might have a conflict with Sycophant, so he changed his statement simply to avoid conflict. But I think he was more honest with his first statement.

I disagree, I think Sycophant does come across as INTp. She's so similar to two female INTps I know IRL that I never had any real doubt as to her type. Unless none of them is INTp, but then I don't know what those two could be.
The profile has perhaps a bit too much specific information that does not apply to all INTps but that's something else.
I can't speak for Cone, but I assure you that I'm not saying this to avoid conflict with her. That's my honest opinion, right or wrong.

Blake, just forget about the socionics theories for a while. Yes the child like enthusiasm is very much INTP behavior, you just have to learn to see it. I am still not convinced that Sychophant is INTP though. The way the hidden agenda manifests in INTPs tends to be clearly different from the way Sycophant comes across.
