Thread: is my type ESE or SEE?

Hybrid View

Smile is my type ESE or SEE?

I am having troubles narrowing down which type I actually am. At the moment I'm debating between ESE and SEE. I was looking at a few other threads on the site and I saw that people were doing video responses, which I believe will help people properly type me. Since I pretty bad at just rambling about myself , I am going to ask you guys to ask me questions and I will respond via video.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, sometimes Fe/Si and Se/Fi can be hard to differentiate, especially if you're new to this. Might actually help to look at duality descriptions and try to figure out if your dual is INTp or INTj. You could also look at temperament and try to think if you're more Ej or Ep. Rationals tend to like to follow plans in a straight line without getting too much detoured whereas irrationals can be enjoy the flexibility of a detour and make it work to their advantage more quickly without as much stress or reprogramming. if that makes sense.

Well I read over the descriptions of both the INTp and INTj and to be completely honest, neither of them seem interesting at all.

INTjs seem to be a background people with no emotion, while INTps seem to be mean, boring people. It may have been the descriptions that I read but I'm not impressed nor turned on to either.

that's not how relationships work in socionics terms.

A month ago somebody posted a similar remark. He saw a dual actor on tv and he didn't felt dualized when he watched t.v.

You have to interact otherwise it doesn't work. You have to be physically and mentally involved.

Everybody has the had this experience. Reading about your dual makes you think 'that's not what I'm looking for'. But when you get together, suddenly you experience really cool things happen in your mind and feeling.

This may help. Also, LIIs may be robots, but they're really fun robots! And smart too.

I'd say SEE from your general attitude. ESEs are really good at rambling about themselves

    About the OP:

She's very very easy to read. Blind deaf mute people who don't understand brail can tell when she has a problem.

She is extremely easily stressed out, and has a hard time letting go of... Well most anything she's been attached to really.

She is two-faced in that she can be very bubbly/nice/caring about some one to the point where it's annoying to even watch and then turn around and remark about how that same person is extremely dull or how she doesn't care for them.

She's very very sensitive, she is the very essence of 'mean people suck'

She very seldom let's people know how their negative actions affect her. Though negative actions do greatly impact her, her tactic to conceal her upsetedness (since it is impossible for her to hide her emotions) is to blame the sudden difference in her attitude or behavior on some illness or lack of sleep and then extricate herself from the situation as soon as possible so she can fully release the emotions.

She has difficulty making any decision no matter how small or how large. Deciding what to eat, where to go, what to do with her free time, what she want's with her life, how to do HW, ect. ect.. Very indecisive.

She has a very hard time saying 'no', she hates hurting people, in a way when she hurts others it hurts her. oftentimes even more than it does the other person.

Illness of any kind completely incapacitates her, a common cold can have her bed ridden, skipping class and avoiding friends for weeks. This is also true when she is experiencing inner turmoil or a difficult situation emotionally.

She freely expresses her positive opinions of situations or people around her though she is very straightforward with what she says. If asked how she feels about some one for whom she cares deeply she is more adept to say something along the lines of: "I care for them UBERZ!" than say something more poetic like "They are the reason I get up in the morning."

She can be manipulative, often trying to get her way though with out hurting others.

IMO? The day she is intuitive is the day hell freezes over. However she is a friend of Stan's so I will notify him as to this threads existence and see if he cares to describe her as well.

What is you attitude towards "background people" when you're in social situations? If you see someone that looks out of place, do you try to include them, or do you focus more on who/what is in front of you?

The focus on "including" background people points towards ESE > SEE.

You make it sound like it's a bad thing haha

Anyway based on the information so far, I don't think you are SeFi (ESFp). You seemed like alpha-SF on the video.
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

Pretty sure you're ESE. I am hoping you are ESE, because I don't want a dual who is a fucking snob. I like how you refer to 'background people' as some sort of lower class. For many years in highschool I was convinced the extraverts around me were mentally retarded. They seemed interested in boring, meaningless shit, and unable to hold anything in their memory beyond about 4 or 5 seconds. This made communicating with them nearly impossible. Introvert / Extravert thing I guess. Anyway please fuck off

ESE>SEE. Regarding dating your dual: just find someone with lots of money, dual or not, whatever.

Huh, that's funny, I heard her say that she's not really attracted to "background people" but still tries to help them fit in and is nice to them. That doesn't sound very snobbish to me. What sounds snobbish to me is dismissing an entire group of people as "mentally retarded" and viewing one's self as inherently superior to them.

But I must just be misunderstanding the meaning of the word. Surely such an intelligent person capable of holding things in his memory for more than 4 or 5 seconds would not make such an error. I should probably go look up the meaning of the word.

I just love how you edited this, since you originally said that she was SEE.

Despite the fact they are your dual, you would probably hate a SEE. This negative description sounds like just about every SEE I've ever met (exaggerated, of course).

Just thought I'd let you in on something: Albert Einstein was an extrovert.

SEE's are very sexual creatures. I was on the train last week and there was one sitting across from me with her friend/work collegue. She had a massive chest and kept looking at me and sticking her chest out at me. Putting her hair up and down then up and down. Very grabby personality and grabby in action. I don't even know if she was interested in me or just being tarty for the sake of it, as I put my headphones on and was half uncomfortable and half enjoying the show.
