It's not even about skills anymore. It's like, how am I going to feel good about what I've done in ten years? How am I going to live my life so I feel happy tomorrow morning?

Something to remember is that your productivity and value to society is going to be dependent on how you feel as an individual. Your sense of success at the end of the day probably won't be tallied by means of your house or your car or your money. It'll be about how you feel as a person, whether you feel like you're doing something that's valuable to you.

Don't worry about where you'll be, worry about what's immediately in front of you. With the list, find something that you think you could enjoy doing and don't worry so much about how you'll get there. Just take it one step at a time.

This next is probably more in reference to Merry > Serious, though I think the Reasonable > Resolute argument is still made here. Ironically in reference to you saying that Alpha quadra isn't serious enough.

I think a good point was brought up here. I think a lot of us here in alpha just don't feel like rehashing the same arguments over and over again. Instead we like this space to be relaxing and fun and a place where we feel free to express ourselves and be silly alphas together.

The fact that there aren't a lot of serious threads here has nothing to do with them being unwelcome, but perhaps is a reflection of the kind of people this sub-forum attracts. That is, many alphas like to come to this sub-forum for a place to relax, and feel free to express themselves naturally without pressure to conform to other types' expectations. The "raison d'etre" is not simply to talk about alpha issues, but also to grant an alpha domain. That includes letting people talk about things that they think other alphas will appreciate.

Would you prefer going out with 10 fans to a bar, drink beer and answer questions as they come or do a lecture about your works for 2 hours and answer questions there?

In any case, no matter what I was famous for, I would rather do A. I prefer casual settings where people feel relaxed and see me as approachable. I think conversation and the development of ideas is far more open and constructive that way. I far prefer seminars to lectures in university. Even if I was presenting a theory, I would rather do it in a relaxing atmosphere over a piece of paper than in a lecturing format.

That said, I'm not uncomfortable with lecturing either. If I had more like 20 people, I would be more inclined to lecturer if only to keep things more orderly, but I would want to integrate some of the chilling afterwards. If I had a fan following, I wouldn't want them to worship me or feel distanced from me. As it is, I have absolutely no desire for that kind of fame. I would rather not be famous then have a bunch of people worship me and not feel that I was someone they could stop by and chat with.

I don't see Se as intimidating. I see it as close-minded and frustrating. Se egos almost always throw me into devil's advocate mode

I think infantilist love (in the alpha sense) is best described as playful, light-hearted and organic. Partners want to give each other affection which is externally consumed: kind gestures, softly uplifting words, gifts, PDA. They want to be able to tease and find mischievous and creative ways to draw their partner's attention to them. They don't want formal boundaries in their relationship, rather they want everything to develop on it's own. Serious discussions about where a relationship is or where it's heading breaks down the comfort levels and the spontaneity of the couple.

Since you seem impossible to satisfy, I don't really see how productive conversation will ever come out of this. I've tried really hard to explain myself to your satisfaction, others have attempted to voice their opinions, but you reject absolutely everything. And now, because I really believe that you were just misunderstanding isolated instances, I've attempted to do exactly what you ask and in the same manner that you've been doing it and with the same references you've been using on me, and it's still not enough. At this point I don't know what anyone could do to give you evidence for being Judicious/Reasonable. I pity the fool who attempts to make the case for you, because it sounds like a lost cause to me.
