    Default Beta behavior

I've noticed a lot of times with Betas in groups (in real life), other Betas will kinda ignore each other because like, I always agree with them so it's like there's nothing to add to the conversation. Most of the time I will only say things to correct what I view as an error. But if somebody keeps saying things that you agree with, it's like- I just leave them alone and think they are boring, although I feel weak/drained if I don't sense this sort of security in my presence. Does that make sense?

Nope, not my experience at all. It is nice to find people who understand what you mean so effortlessly. It doesn't mean they will have exactly the same opinions as you obviously, but they at least get what you're saying or why you're saying it. I find that occurs most with other Betas. I like spending time with other Betas, I don't always agree with them, I don't find them boring because we agree, if we do - even other Beta STs, and I don't feel drained, weak or insecure.

Sorry I typed that out wrongly, I meant this DOESN'T drain me, but that....conversations are just hard to continue sometimes when you just agree with each other lol.

While at acting school I noticed certain quadras would hang out in groups between classes, mostly gamma and beta groups.

This accords with my experience much more than Sam's description. It's not even that betas always understand what I mean -- what a platitude that would be! -- but rather, that they seem to pick up on my motivations much more easily. I can't say I agree with betas more or less than any other quadra, but that's because I operate under an assumption of disagreement with people. Regardless, it is much easier to throw things out and have them requitted, than condemned or brushed aside.

There's an Fe-ENFj 3w4 so/sx guy in my compartment who is a section leader. I find that, no matter how much he dislikes something I do, he can never fully criticize it -- because he's coming from the same motivational center! It's like some mutual recognition, and a corrective expression will feel fairly seamless, regardless of the level of disagreement.
