    must be an F type,

how else would he play the character so well to the point that you don't know if it's really just a character or is the real actor?

Who really enjoys him, and his comedy?

    I know one LII.
Me and an ESE were watching his latest holiday movie really didn't get it, not sure if it is socionics related at all though.

Hmm, I have never thought about that. The actor is often types as SLI (dunno about that) but the character...hmm.

The actor is SLI. Maybe that's what made you think the characters he plays are SLI?
I wouldn't confidently say that the characters he play are SLI too.

People often compare me to him so I'd agree with the creative part.

But the PoLR is quite evident I'd say. In his other characters.

The character is not SEI, and Bean doesn't have creative. I really wonder why people are so inclined to see that in people like him, since it is quite obvious that he is a logical type -- both the character and Rowan Atkinson. SLI is a much better guess for Bean, even though it is perhaps not 100 % certain. Mr Bean is also an extremely obvious example of a person with Asperger's Syndrome.

As usual, snegledmaca's post says something important about his real type, but you already know what I think about that ...

I get that he is not supposed to talk, that's fine. Some of his stuff is funny. I just..... I don't know, I have to be in the right mood. Some of it seems so pointless and absurd, he is so inefficient so to say.

I'm talking about "Mr. Bean" - not the actor that plays him.

I always liked the show Mr. Bean but never really cared for any of the movies that he's made. I don't think I've ever seen the Mr. Bean movie though, I imagine I may actually like it if it's ever on and I think to watch it.

SEI I think is a fair bet. I've personally always enjoyed his material, especially the Christmas special type one where he's packing and ends up scissoring off his teddy bear's head to conserve space.

And no one is willing or able to explain why you think Mr. Bean is SEI. Why the hell to you think he is an ethical type? It doesn't make much sense. Where are your arguments for that belief? Can't you tell the difference between an ethical type and a logical?

I woudln' say SEI/SLI is obviously distinguishable but it's obvious that he constantly makes fun of his weakness to make things work, to organize his time (&space) and to get something out of his plans, which is his Achilles' heel and could very possibly be Te.

Now, where are YOUR arguments, you f**ing brat?

The execution of his desired plan to get to the beach at Cannes, for example (in his latest movie), well, it is not very good. Furthermore, he does not really mind the detours it seems, just as long as he gets there, eventually.

No. His Achilles heel is that he has Asperger, which typically manifests itself in that way.

hah! yes, i think this can be Te polr in general (esp with what munenori talked about -- scissoring the teddybear's head to get it to fit in the suitcase,) but the clip UDP posted on the other hand seems like something else. (...right? i'm not exceptionally sure on this.)

Yes it does. It is doubtful whether any SEI can have Asperger's Syndrome. And you still haven't explained why you think Mr. Bean is an SEI. You must have at least some reason to believe so.

This seems to be a similar phenomenon to the one about IEIs, where some people here have suggested that an IEI could be autistic, or even that an autistic person is more likely to be an IEI than an ILI. I think that is totally incorrect, but I still want to understand why it is possible to get that idea about IEIs, and now also about SEIs. It is my rather firm convinction that it is very unlikely, if not altogether impossible, that you are an ethical type if you are autistic. Maybe it is possible, but it is certainly hard to imagine.

SEI/SLI Are not easily distinguishable. Remember, you can't just go on outward behavior.

I have personally watched Mr. Bean take an MBTI test and he came out ISFP....... so he must be an ISFp! End of discussion. No no Phaedrus..... don't try to counter this, MBTI type=Socionics type no matter what, and I will not hear any of your arguments to the contrary. Good day sir.
