This is in MBTI but Im sure it can be applied universally. That said, Im just posting this for the links at the bottoms describing the issues. I think it can reflect us, too, so it is worth a look.

Common sense is conforming to those effects, not the other way around. Beating the constraints of the human mind requires a reanalysis of your current state at all times. People find it easier to adopt the common beliefs (no matter how rational/irrational those common beliefs may be) rather than exercise their minds.
The definition you provided of common sense is very much a true ongoing dynamic that continues to plague humanity!!!
I wasn't implying that I wasn't a common person.
The errors of reasoning are not beliefs but rather fundamental characteristics of human thinking, characteristics that cannot be overcome without knowledge of them and long-term, deliberate action. I highly doubt the person who states that he does not conform to these phenomena.
