my results are in line with my self-typing, social 4. the top three results are even the same three types I would've guessed for my trifix, all of them social instinct. I'm impressed with this.

Hmm...Right about the type and variant, but the wing, unlikely. I mean I do have many 5ish tendencies: I'm in my head a lot, I'm very intellectual, I am not very socially active...but it's weird that 3 was so low for me, considering that 3 is one of the more likely types for me.

I have to say that ESper enneagram site is the best enneagram i have ever read. There is a chart of a cycle of how a type becomes healthy and unhealthy, also other infromation i never knew like the health level cannot be change in a short time. By far the best and easiest to read site with new information.

Very busy with work. Only kind of around.
Every time I take this test I get the same thing. I don't know why 9w is so low. I'm middle of the road for many things, just very clear about being decisive, independent, and not particularly self critical. Very strong willed and definitely not "go with the flow/what other people think". Seldom feel guilty, confrontational, and focus on myself. I think that rounds out the things that I actually had a strong answer for. And, "trouble saying no" - I have never had any trouble with that ever, lol.

Out of all the enneagram types, 8 seems to fit the best. The more I am around ones, the less I relate to them. They have a mental fixation on things being correct that doesn't translate well to me. It seems too "), and that's why I generally like 9w1 types of people, particularly delta NFs. But a straight up 1 who is Ti/Fe valuing, they are generally annoying to me.
I think, however, that I am more confident and self controlled than some 8s that I've come across. But then again, one that I am thinking of now might possibly be an E3. If I am to say for example, Ezra is an 8, and two of my uncles are also 8s (and also SLEs), they generally don't bother me, and don't apply to the first sentence in this paragraph. So, it is either perhaps an unhealthy eight, or someone 'trying to be an 8', that seems to bother me. I find Ari Gold very funny and appealing, but I don't see him, as I said, in the first sentence. Still, 8w9 seems the best fit - the 9 coldness > 7 expansiveness and such.
Going back to the "I think, however, that I am more confident and self controlled than some 8s that I've come across", there are some people who seem to need to be in control out of insecurity, and seem very nervous and fearful about doing things like that - seem almost like it's some sort of anxiety driven thing. That's how it comes off to me. I'm not sure if E8s are really that way, and definitely not are any of the healthy ones I know are as such. So again, perhaps they are unhealthy 8s or people trying to be something they are not. People like that almost always end up running into conflict with me because I gravitate towards anything administrative, and if they are insecure about it it tends to lead to some sort of a confrontation.
Hmm, writing that, I realize I'm drawn to confronting inadequate, insecure, ineffective, or perhaps despotic/tyrannical leadership figures. I don't particularly do it because I feel the need to be in power or want power or even status - I just don't want to be in a situation where I don't have any say in something that is going shitty. And I don't want things to be going shitty for other people, either. So to that end, I seem to almost always protrude into anything related to administration.
2,3,4,5,6,7, don't really seem to be me. E1, I was focused on 'morality' and 'ethics' and 'rightness' for a time, and I still am in some ways, but I don't think how I went about things in the past ever worked for me. It's much, much easier for me to focus on truth and balance of power, and then just letting things happen organically. I don't think trying to make things conform to a certain standard of correctness is something that I can use as a way of life, for myself. That way of thinking doesn't have the motivation I need. I despise E3s most, it seems. I've been trying to look at some sort of an E6, but I just don't see it working out.

Seven, seven, seven, seven, seven. About the only time I haven't received a result of 7 from an online enneagram test, it was 8w7. And I'm pretty damn sure I'm not an 8.
And yet the general consensus is that SLIs cannot be 7s. So unless something new and significant jumps out to me about enneagram, I'm not sure what to do with it.
(Likely instinct stacking sx/sp; that seems pretty unarguable ...)
