This is just the problem with the internet, it is just not a good form of personal communication. I mean, one study shows that 93% of communication is non-verbal.
Anyway, good to know I did not misinterpret everything, apologies if I did.

Jimbean, don't take it too bad. No-one's going to hold it against you.
Then again, if you folks wanted to, you all could have held it against me, then I could have been an indentured servant![]()

Jimbean is probably an LSI. Look how moralistic and rigid he is. (By the way, Jimbean, I see these things as admirable characteristics.)
To be honest, I thought glam was half joking when she was talking about her condition. Essentially playing around with mercutio - daring him, in a way. I didn't realise it was an entire joke.
[quote=Ezra;483467]Haha, I know what you mean. I definitely swagger when I walk.
LOL. Mmm, I love it! SLE swaggers are so hot-melts-!
The untypeable? Yeah, definitely, we have an odd relationship with him. I don't really know how to describe it.
I'm ashamed to say I haven't actually heard of him... :/
Oh lol! No me neither until this year...
An unjust psychiatric ward run by a tyrant. Then this guy who is evidently not insane arrives on the scene and starts something with the ward. Very good read; I highly recommend it. The author actually put himself through electroshock therapy in order to gain the kinds of experiences that patients at this time in America (around the '50s and early '60s) endured.
Oh, that sounds interesting! I will check it out =)
--Lol . Oh dear, that bums...what year of uni are you in, are you just going to keep it up? What do you want to do when you leave uni (roughly ^-^)?
I'm in my second year. I'm definitely keeping up with it, as I have more choice next year; more independence based around what I want to study within philosophy. This way I can steer clear of the modules I'm weak in/don't enjoy.
When I leave, for a long time I wanted to study law, but I've had rethinks quite recently, and I'm considering a wider range of career paths now. I'm applying for work experience so as to clearly define what I want to do. I'm big on planning my life, so it's important to me that I know what I want to do. Otherwise I end up depressed and pissed off.
Which modules are you planning on taking? Which career paths are you considering? Yeah that's a grand idea!
Do you know what you want to do later on in life?
I really should plan more. When it comes to making descisions I tend to go mostly with what my intuition tells me. I want to go to uni, but I don't know what I want to study yet.
I used to want to be a therapist but I find 'alternative' therapies to be way more effective than any of that mainstream jazz. So, I want to move to California or LA (people are apparently more open minded and down with the wack shit I am in to there, + the climate beats that of the UK) become self-employed, have a career in nutrient therapy, yoga, holistic therapy - something like that =). Oh and I plan on finding an SLE to do my finances
(as well as other things
)!
I also thought about becoming a writer (LOL!), interior designer (but I wouldn't feel like I would be doing the world enough good), oh and a matchmaker haha!
I have two EIE friends. Mr. Saturn posted on here for a while, but I don't live with him; he's one of my best friends from home. The other EIE is my housemate, but recently I've been wondering whether he might actually be an SLE. I'm not certain, but I'm keeping an open mind. As far as I'm concerned, he's definitely Beta extrovert.
Oh cool! How long have you known your housemate? Also, I read that activation partners feel as though they need a break from each other after a while...how much time, would you say, could you guys hang or before you got burnt out and how much time do you find you need apart to like 'recharge'?
Haha, sorry to put you off. It all depends on the uni you go to. Just make sure you think carefully about what you want to do, otherwise you might end up in a similar position to me.
Oh, I appreciate the heads up lol =)! Sorry that ot ended up like that...
That's the problem with non-philosophers. You're engrossed in an incredible world for so long... and then the responses to your enthusiasm from the "normal" people are completely mundane.
Lol. Exactly! Ha, it's so frustrating!
Ones, Sixes and Eights, mainly. You could probably find some Threes, but these are less likely. I'd struggle to agree with much else.
Oh, that's interesting! Do you know many? I know of one, she seems like a 1, possibly a 6w5.
SLEs are apparently Threes, but I'm sceptical. There's too much in the SLE that conflicts with the main focus of Threes, I think.
Yes, I agree!
Yeah, it's a shame about that. There is too much conflicting evidence, and every real socionist is Russian! I think Rick should write a book. I'd buy it.
LOL. Yeah, so true!
I have indeed. I think I was SLOAN or SCOAN; can't remember which. What are you?
=/ Hmm, can't remember!
Well, he is ENFP in MBTI (he took the £99 test), so that gave me a bit of a clue. I think he is Delta, and is either SLI or IEE.
I don't have a TV. I'll watch it on 4oD probably, in the near future.
Same. Catch it on 4oD.
Ughhh word, baby! It's all fuzzed!
Wow, I really can't quote!
Come to Beta? He is Beta!

Ahhhhh, we're a crazy bunch.
Not sure yet, although, judging from the crap choice, probably Russell and Metaphysics. I might try and do maybe two modules outside philosophy (definitely one). I'll certainly be done with it by next year. I'm getting sick of it.
The very stereotypical jobs, believe it or not: law, accountancy, management... I've considered government, and I'm still keeping it in mind; potentially civil service. But right now I'm keeping my options open while still shopping around (I've applied for a couple of Summer/Easter vacation placement schemes at a few law firms).Which career paths are you considering?
That's fair enough. You're not alone there. In fact, I'm considered rare in knowing what I want to do most of the time.I really should plan more. When it comes to making descisions I tend to go mostly with what my intuition tells me. I want to go to uni, but I don't know what I want to study yet.

Matchmaker is a hobbyI also thought about becoming a writer (LOL!), interior designer (but I wouldn't feel like I would be doing the world enough good), oh and a matchmaker haha !. Forget doing the world some good, but then again, I think SEIs make better interior designers.
I think you should become a holistic therapist and then write a few books, and have a column in a paper. You heard of Barefoot Doctor? He's probably right down your street. I used to be really into Taoism three or four years ago.
Well, interesting, because I actually don't. I get on fantastically with both the EIEs I know. It's something that's made me consider that I may actually be an LSI. In fact, our relationships are so good, when we fuck one another off in some way, the damage is almost instantly repaired. The truth is, I have fantastic relations with EIEs.Oh cool! How long have you known your housemate? Also, I read that activation partners feel as though they need a break from each other after a while...how much time, would you say, could you guys hang or before you got burnt out and how much time do you find you need apart to like 'recharge'?
No, incidentally. LSIs are the type in Beta I've probably encountered least in life.Oh, that's interesting! Do you know many? I know of one, she seems like a 1, possibly a 6w5.
Wow, I really can't quote!

does having theatrical movements count as swaggering ?
I have a strong feeling that German is a nation of betas, his style of leadership fits right in, I don't think if he were alive today he would have been as captivating for people in the U.S than he was in the 1930's-1950's germany. He still can, but might run into poltics Obstacles if he were to run for power in a mentality like the U.S.
i've noticed that some peoples movements are much more noticable than others...
