    That's impossible:
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

I am a little curious as to why Gilly thinks I am LSI...I haven't really heard the reasoning behind that. If not, that's okay. Was just curious...

Because he's self-typed as Ni-ENFj, thinks your hot, and doesn't want you as his conflictor, lol.

I think he's serious about typing you as his dual, yeah. Anyway, I think you're ISTp > ISTj.

It seems unlikely to me he would mistype conflictor as dual. You should probably read LSI descriptions more closely and see if they fit you

I have many times and it's wrong on just about all points but it also doesn't help that LSI seems to be the only type left out when it comes to a good description.

Maybe Gilly needs to reconsider IEE

    *sigh*
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,

I just think Beta ST > Delta ST, and of the four possible Beta ST subtypes, I think LSI-Se seems to make the most sense on the whole.

But why? What about her cognitive/behavioral patterns suggests those functions? I just think that she's a very cool ISTp and more badass than most deltas.

Like I said, I am still a bit curious why you say Beta over Delta, Gilly. But I think we could argue til we're blue in the face on that subject and still not see eye to eye.

Strrrng, what is it about other ISTP's (or deltas in general) that you don't enjoy? I'm just trying to understand things more clearly.

Most of them seem boring, content with some sort of homeostasis crap (most of them are 9's), focused on inane logical processes, hide behind "factual" data without giving any real subjective experience, offset by rapidly changing physical environments, don't get vibed by my beautiful Fe, can't grasp Ni abstractions.

Those are generalizations that seem to be recurring with a little over .5 frequency -- by no means an end all.

You just seem more vibrant, experientially-focused, insouciant in a good way, your sense of humor is more similar to mine.

I don't think these differences are really function-related though, aside from a few subsets of Si. I have met some really cool deltas in my life, so that list was just some general impressions of the negative aspects. For all I know you could be a bitch in real life lol. But yeah...

I agree with this. And also, as I pretty much said earlier, I would much rather hang out with Betas with whom I have non-socionic stuff in common than Deltas who are incredibly unlike me.

I agree. Although, it seems that the fundamental similarities I share with betas pervade our real life interests, and the quadra themes get evinced (i.e. my conversations with Se-ESTp friend about martial arts).

Unfortunately I really just don't feel like explaining myself because I am about 99% sure it will be more effort than it's worth. No offense or anything.

I can sort of see why you get that vibe but there are exceptions and I promise I'm not a bitch...well, I personally don't think I am...

That's fine, Gilly. I was just wondering. Once you decide to jump ship over to Delta, let me know

Hm, the whole thing should have been in bold.

Why would they feel threatened by such an attitude? Nick is pretty much saying "Your Se, Ti, Fe, and Ni suck". The appropriate response from a Si, Te, Fi, and Ne perspective would be "lol... and your point is?"

It would be like me telling you that your tits aren't voluptuous enough and your legs are too hairy to look good in a short skirt.

We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...
