it's too much siting in front of computer, not sociotype

I know enough 3- and 4d Si slouching and having dark bags under their eyes, even though socionical descriptions say they shouldn't
uhh what is 3d Si and 4d Si. Maybe it's something I ought to know, but this lingo doesn't seem familiar to me. You read russian socionics?

sorry, I do read russian, and I'm probably mixing terminologies here
I was taking about the fact that weaker functions are said to have less dimensions than stronger ones, that is 4th and 5th are one-dimensional, and 1st and 8th are four-dimensional.

One's posture seemingly correlates to the strength and position of Si, but I know lots of people for whom even strongest four-dimensional Si doesn't solve the problem.

I actually remember when I was in elementary school thinking to myself 'why do I always look down when I walk / down in general? I think it's because it helps me to think by not looking around at all this other stuff around me'. And I think it's true that INTp thinks almost entirely inside of their heads most of the time. Other types seem to have their thoughts in direct contact with the world in some way or another... not INTp.

I used to look down also. Either that or just look straight ahead. I would NEVER look people in the face. Never. I'm getting better about that though. Now I try to be friendly.

Haha, me too. My mom often scolded me about it. "Other kids your age say hi to me in public and you don't even recognize I'm there"...

lol, ambivalence toward parental units is normal for us...

I slouch, and it's hard not to.

We should have a thread about INTp vocalization.

Some of the ugliest voices I've ever heard are INTp. One I know well sounds like he's voicebox is some sort of rusty-ass, worn out, tired, scratchy horn. There's like no consistency. It sounds like some sort of broken machine. And it's deep too, much of the time, because he puts no energy into just about anything. So it's this very nerdy, lankey person with this growling, scratchy, unpleasant sounding voice.

He does liven up when you kind of show up that you are talking to him, so he's not mean or an asshole. But it's like he needs oil or WD 40 or something (Si). My grandfather is very similar.

Just because it's on my mind, it's like this Ace Ventura clip, but much much much less cool. Take the landlord's voice, and envision that he was a chain smoker all his life, and is sort of a broken robot as well, and that's what the two INTps I'm talking about kind of sound like.

Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.
