I'm quessing ISFp and ENTp - I love this movie

IMO Aladdin's Genie as ESFj is very dubious. He isn't in any way a socially harmonious kind of character, more like annoying, awkward and over the top. He's definitely Alpha and extrovert but ENTp rather than ESFj. Compare him to Star Trek's Q, who is consistently typed ENTp and very similar in behavior to the genie.

The reason why I see Genie as ESE is that he is almost a complete fictional extension of Robin Williams (ESE).

I do support the typing of Kaylee as ESFj and see absolutely no reason to doubt it's validity. She's just about the most obvious ESFj in pop culture that I could name.

How abour posting some examples of your own that you believe to be correct? That would be much more constructive than posting nothing more than a vague criticism, don't you think? We'd love to have more examples.

i would but i'd have to find SEI characters first
what bothers me is that ppl relaxed their Socionics accuracy and post too fast conclusions. i very much doubt yours and Khola's vamps are SEIs. + 1981slater's post i don't even want to mention, saying Buffy = SEI is not even funny.
i admit Hollywood distorts the view on reality, but typing has some criteria.

have you watched the shows that my and Khola's examples come from and are you familiar with the characters? (the ones that I posted are characters from the scifi shows LEXX and Farscape). I would hate to think that you would post a too fast conclusion on the types (or not types) of these characters based solely on some "vampy" pictures that have been posted in this thread. You wouldn't do that, would you?

i wouldn't watch such shows, i'm too interested in the reality and lately i (critically) comment when watching most of the films i watch, that's why i prefer to type only in films with a great deal of realism.

mine was not a conclusion, but a doubt. imo a credible SEI character cannot have such image. i agree art expression has no limits, but what has that to do with Socionics? few fictional chars have a sufficient amount of real life traits to be typed, i wonder how can you do it so fast even .

Ok, a character is not going to have the personality continuity of a person perhaps, but it creates an image, and idea of what something is, and is publically identifiable. That's why.

Hm, I'd say crying especially in public is showing your emotions. I'd suppose ISFp will find it easier if people saw him crying than ISTp - he wouldn't like people to see him crying.

I think for men it's more difficult to cry especially in public. They probably perceive it as showing weakness, being more feminine. But out of the types I know - I haven't seen a man who's not Fe valuing crying.
