    Default The Muppets (Show)

I was just watching the Muppet Show on DVD, and I think Miss Piggy is a total ENFP! She throws herself at Kermie and wants to take care of him, but at the first sign of rejection, she karate-chops him!

Actually, I am sort of like that ... though, I am more likey to mop around feeling sad and unhappy than violent, and I would probably stop hanging around the girl.

I'm still watching the Muppet Show, and I can't help typing them! Here's my take on some of the stars:

    Miss Piggy, ENFP
    Kermit, ENTJ
    Fozzy Bear, ESFP
    Gonzo the Great, ESFJ
    Bunsen, INTJ
    Sam the Bald Eagle, INTP

    What do ya'll think?
And what do you think about Statler and Waldorf (the geezers who heckle Fozzy)?
    Yes, I'm an ESFP.

On second thought...maybe Kermit is an ISTJ....

    Sam's not an INTp.

    More likely ISTj.

    Cookie Monster: ESFp

    Kermit: INFp?

Ernie: ENFp - and maybe Bert is ISTp Duality at work!

I dunno. I don't remember well enough. My only recollection is that he doesn't speak up when people are doing things to frustrate him... just makes a face. INxx seems apparent in any case.

My first thought was IEE, but Miss Piggy is LSE ftw so EII is worth considering.

I can see those two being stereotypical versions of delta rational couple.

Yeah I was kinda thinking INFJ or ENFP for kermit. But I could see INFP too.

Miss Piggy seems like an ESFJ or even ENFJ to me. But she could prob be an emotionally unstable version of a lot of types. And, of course, she's also a pig and a muppet. That makes it harder to tell

It is possible that she represents an ESFj and that Kermit and her have an Illusionary relationship.

    Yes, really.

    IEE-SLI duality?
    IEE-LSI conflict?
    Something completely different?

Could Bert be LII? It does seem like it could be an unequal relationship, with Bert as the Supervisor who's always getting annoyed at Ernie's disregard for Ti order.

I could definitely see big bird being IEE, but not Elmo--too much annoying Fe!!! I'd say Elmo is alpha. SEI maybe??

LOL, i thought hard about what you said about cookie monster being SLI and you know, i can see it I think! Trying to remember way back if he's Fi-valuing at all... not sure about that. Cant remember if he had any Fi moments, maybe he did.

They can't be duals or conflictors because it's an asymmetrical relation.

Bert always gets annoyed by Ernie so Ernie should be Bert's supervisor, not the other way round.

I'm pretty sure it's the Supervisor who gets annoyed by the Supervisee. The Supervisor sees the Supervisee as being in some sense "broken" and in need of fixing, and it can be annoying if the Supervisee doesn't agree and resists being fixed.

The Supervisee, if anything, is intimidated by the Supervisor, whose Base function looms imposingly over their Vulnerable function. To be annoyed is to feel superior, not inferior.
