If I were to do this, I would think of someone I know of a given type, and then use to put myself in their mind and act like them. I would then examine my own perceptions and describe it. people do this all the time. This is why we stare at people when we speak to them, so we can map out their reactions, and then extrapolate their personality map into any other situation. Its somewhat soft science, but I think its one of the best tools for such a task, then hard science and statistics can take care of the rest, which is how socionics came to be to begin with.
