    Default where are the deltas?

there aren't a lot of new topics here, and I haven't seen too many deltas around. Also, I feel there is a lot of bashing in the forums in general.

This depressing behavior has to stop now damn it!!!

Could be cause and effect. Either lack of Delta => aggression, or aggression => lack of Delta.

Ok, now I feel we're a little more organized. So far there are five of us here (Anndelise, Kim, Kim's friend, and schrödinger's cat). I think that we are enough to stabilize the forum, though we could use more backup.

Could be cause and effect. Either lack of Delta => aggression, or aggression => lack of Delta.
Good point comrade Schrödinger's cat, you have identified the possible dilemma. We have to develop a plan to ensure that topics stay impersonal and that we post more topics.

What bashing?? And am I or anyone else guilty because deltas don't post that much?

gugu, you are not guilty. I feel that there are times when discussions get agressive because of the lack (and influence) of people who want things to run smoothly.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Delta, ok? Now why don't you post more?
I am trying to find out why we are not posting much at the present time.

    || - ISTj, 2, 2%
    | - ESFj, 1, 1%

And there's been at least three ISTps, and one or two ENFps, who have joined since Cone posted that. Maybe an INFj as well.

My plan was: soon as people start posting lots of hissy, nasty, aggressive things to each other, we count to three and everyone posts pictures of cuddly puppy dogs.

    Errr... OK. Another plan.

We'll just quote them and change their quotes to something nice. So when someone says "I'm going to crush you with my superior logic, you dickhead", we'll change it to
--something nice ("you hold such a special place in my heart")
--or to a nonsense poem ("yumpidi pumpidi glum")...
and post lots of pictures of cuddly puppy dogs.

Sorry, I've got to do some work and I'm procrastinating, which explains the silliness. *clears throat* I'm serious again now.

By the way, where's Darklord? His plans usually involve spacecrafts, laser beams and interstellar travel. I love it.

Hah! I just found out that you fit in exactly with the other INFJs here. They've been talking about not fitting in here:

It appears that infjs have problems fitting-in in general. We look at things from a dettached point of view, but at the same time very connected to other people. I think that we are not "meant" to fit-in, but rather, move people and actually create a group where we would see ourselves fit in. And it just so happens that by doing this seemingly selfish thing, we would be forming stable and harmonious groups of people.

BTW, I've double-checked with my little daughter, and your wolves are still "baah". (I've also shown her a picture of a seal and she thought it was a kind of chicken. We're working on it.)

Well, to tell you the truth in my case, it's also that I don't want to fit in.

And, people misunderstand when they don't have previous experience with something or choose not to understand. In the first case, it is a lose-lose situation since I'm not comfortable in sharing what I believe is my identity since doing so might risk the possiblity of having it attacked, which would lead to my self-destruction. But, at the same time, not doing so leads me to feel distant from people, which contradicts the fact that I am socially oriented.

Another reason why I would deliberately separate myself is because I'm trying to deal with the frustration of wanting to do something but at the same time not wanting to so as to avoid exposure or a vulnerable situation.

All of this might sound pathetic to some people, but I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, inner turmoil to me is my way of feeling alive. Being close to my physical sorroundings is not reassuring to me, since everything might as well be an illusion.

I don't fit in. How convenient, then, that 'fitting in' is also my image of the greatest violation of self I can imagine.

That is interesting. I often have some trouble fitting in (not here but in many other places). But I do have a subconscious need to fit in. So from your perspective I have a need to violate my "self" but I hardly ever succeed in that. That sounds kinda weird

Yeah darklord is quite right. I guess for some of us, fitting in is a painful thing. Actually fitting in is quite a painful thing for delta. INFj's are commonly percieved as anti-social, nerdy, otherworldly, and ISTp's are percieved as ... i don't know someone help me here, ESTj's are percieved as stiff-necked, forceful individuals, and ENFp's are sometimes percieved as deviants, underachievers, i don't know... I guess everyone has a problem with fitting in it's just whether you're conscious of it or not. Sometimes our weaknesses are our strengths.

Sorry I need to sleep now. I guess it's something to do with ENFp's values being very different from others. I don't know. I'm not sure. Let's assume that the above premise is true, so that means that their achievements may not be valued by many. And so they are sometimes percieved as underachievers. A little confused now, so pardon me.
