Default Beta description on Wikisocion - too focused on Fe?

    http://www.wikisocion.org/en/index.php?title=Beta

I had been looking over the Beta quadra description on wikisocion. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the description of Fe+Ni is very Fe focused? Could there be a better descriptive synthesis of the two?

I resonate with most of the stuff in the other blocks, but yes the Fe+Ni one does seem very Fe-centered. It sort of depends on the context though.

Beta types tend to enjoy group activities where the whole group participates in generating a common emotional atmosphere, as in laughing at jokes, etc.
I don't know if I relate to this.

Beta types tend to feel energized in the presence of people who share their beliefs and express them with obvious enthusiasm and emotion.
Sometimes too much enthusiasm makes me ill. (not literally)

I think most Betas would agree that it is not representative. I'll write a better one when I have the time.

Actually I like it! While it may seem Fe-focused I see it as defining the behaviour/mannerisms of betas in groups dominated by betas, rather than defining the idiosyncrasies of individual betas, and I think that's what a general Beta values description should do. Beta groups are very Fe-focused, without the Fe the betas would stop participating and go off doing their own thing and it would cease being a group

    Yup, very much so.

i'm that way too when it comes to casual groups but theoretically beta groups are supposed to organize around a common goal/cause and goals/causes don't really present themselves unless there's some kind of crisis.

personally i find "casual" groups are usually temperament based (especially with EPs lol those wankers) rather than encompassing a whole quadra. In fact I don't think I've ever really come upon a casual social group that had every type from a quadra represented - they're based more upon immediate wants (things meant to protect members from boredom) rather than needs (things meant to prevent members from threats)
