Why am I testing as INFj/ENFp?

I did rmcnew's test again:

So are there any possible reasons why it's telling me I'm delta? It's got the INFp/ENFj results in there as well but it is favouring INFj/ENFp all the same.

(I know it's only a test but I still want a response)

Well yes, but I was thinking more about the step before that one, i.e. why an INFp might be scoring high enough on the functions to get a result of her quasi-identical.

A lot of Ni types score as high Ne on McNew's test... I was thinking that maybe some of the questions were overlapping.

I agree, Rocky: I don't think all of them quite differentiate clearly enough between the two, because according to socionics, all types with Ne as a dominant/secondary function should score VERY low on Ni; they're likely to see Ni questions as pertaining to Si, associating things like time management with "self-care/awareness." And visa-versa, of course.

I have long sense considered the possibility that some of the Ne/Ni questions on the test, but I am not totally sure if that is the problem.
I can actually see arguments in both directions ...

Perhaps an argument against the fact that the questions are misbalanced would go like this ...

For example, if you look at Sycophants test and Cone's test results, neither one of them had a problem scoring realitivelly high on ...
So, if there really is enough inconsistency in the test so that it would effect the results in that matter, you think that they would have scored high on Ne than they did in actuality ...

Another possibility that Ne and Ni questions are unbalanced comes from looking at Baby's results
If you type it into the tool, not only did he score higher in Ne than Ni, it says he is ENFp also ...

Another argument that the Ni and Ne functions are not unbalanced has to do with Taz.

She has scored high on NF and close on SF on other type test, including mine and hugo's.

For example, this link

That seems to coorelate well with her type test results here.

However, if you type this result into the interpretation tool, she comes out
INFp/ESFj with a mismatch ...

However, the INFp influence was obviously due to a high , which would mean that her suggestive was function taking over and influencing her into choosing yes to questions.
If you remove Ne from the results, they self-correct as an ISFp ...

have received pure results without any conflict to the type they have already
decided, despite the fact that it may appear that the results are unbalanced

So, I guess from these evidences we can guage the following possibilities.

1. The function questions are unbalanced and some people are coming out as types they are not
2. The function questions are not unbalanced, and some people believe they are certain types they are not
3. There is some sort of bug in the program that I need to fix, though that seem unlikely
4. Baby and Ishysquishy are really ENFps or INFjs ...
5. Baby and Ishysquishy are really ISFps, and scoring high on Ne,Se,Si in result of that...

I seem like an ENFp? I like ENFps so I don't really mind if I come across that way but I don't relate to the ENFp descriptions except very superficially. Plus it looks (to me) like is one of my weaknesses. I use a lot more than I use anyway.

Do you think perhaps the environment affects use of the functions?

Baby's brother and my partner are both ESTp, maybe having such close relationships with dominants is strengthening our own ?
