I usually think arguments based on "age and experience" are silly, but I think that FDG's too young, and still at a very early stage in his life - still in his home town, still in university - for the "job-hopping" or "deviating from path" argument to be of any value, either way.

Regardless of whatever types we are: I have changed jobs, and countries (also across oceans), 6 times in 15 years. But at FDG's age, I was exactly in the same situation as he is now as far as such things are concerned. If you go to university and decide to complete a degree, for that period you will be "stable". After that, let's see.

Now look at Joy: she's been job-hopping from a younger age. But then, she never went to university. On the other hand, she hasn't been moving around geographically.

I actually do have some college. I think about a year and a half's worth, altogether.

I probably would have moved to another part of the US if I could, but since my son's dad lives here that's not really an option.

Ok. But that is the same essential point: some external factor (university or your son) keeping you from moving in some way, not your own individual personal preferences.

I don't know... the way he seems to back down after a limited attempt at debate still somehow feels like lack of confidence in his logic.

Whatever. I've probably been somewhat (or maybe a lot) bullying here without meaning to, so I'll just let this lie.

I think I will never move more than 15 miles from where I live now because this is teh best place. So why move? I guess I'm not much of a hopper.

I don't see why I should spend a lot of time convicing people. Up to a certain point, sure, but then it's better if we agree to disagree, otherwise too much time is wasted.

So that no one (or as few people as possible) would be left in error.

otherwise too much time is wasted.
No. By settling this issue a lot of time could be saved. Threads like these wouldn't be needed anymore. Saving a minute now can cost an hour later. Spending an hour now can save a day later.

Of course the problem is that it is unclear whether this issue could be objectively settled at all under the current circumstances.

I mean of my time. It's not possible to know how much time it will take to convince people, and given how for example me and joy tend to have diamtrically opposite positions on most socionics-related issues, then it's likely that the time needed will be infinite.

I'm a bit "amen" about people being left in error. If they won't listen when I tell them once (or max twice), their fault.

If you want to save your time then you probably should not write at all in threads like this. Simple.

Yes, you're right, but I am not perfectly rational in my behavior and thus feel the need to reply to a thread that is adressed to me.

It is perfectly rational. You desire attention more than you dislike debating your type or wasting time.

Your 'Deal with it/suck it' attitude is much more beta than gamma. Dear fucking god, can't you see yourself accurately man? Where is this ENTj shit coming from? Yes Expat kinda behaves in a similiar fashion but he actually uses rational and logical arguements to back it up, making his 'Suck it' attitude much more effective than yours. You seem to be like a child putting on some sort of mask.

I don't buy it. UDP is INTj, and you are still some sort of EP. And if YOU don't believe THAT, YOU are the moron. How do you like that?

I don't understand why you think I am trying to up some mask. It's simply how things are. A mask or not a mask wouldn't change them at all.
