If only more people would recognize that, we'd have such miracles as a quarter of students understanding calculus as opposed to the 2% who understand it today.

Loved algebra classes, had great teachers.

Liked geometry but had a horrible teacher. After that I didn't enjoy trig or calc and lost interest in math.

I still use a lot of math daily, but I don't get hot for derivatives or anything.
