    Default balancing functions

For some reason I haven't made this connection until now... and correct me if I'm wrong...

The corresponding introverted and extroverted functions balance eachother out. That's why if Ne is the 1st function, Ni is the 7th.

The 7th balances out the 1st
The 8th balances out the 2nd
The 5th balances out the 3rd
The 6th balances out the 4th

Soooooo my question is how the specific functions balance eachother... How do Ne and Ni balance eachother? How do Se and Si balance eachother? How do Te and Ti balance eachother? And how to Fe and Fi balance eachother?

? I'd assume the balance is within the dichotamous pairs.

    Te/Fe
    Si/Ni
    Se/Ne
    Fi/Ti

...as in, it is difficult to do both at once in one continuous moment. I might be missing your point.

okay... as an example, if you overdo it with Fe you end up hurting, so Si steps in and tells you that. Or if you're too much about Fi but don't express it with Fe you will be frustrated or unhappy or whatever. Or maybe if you're paying too much attention to Si, Se has to step in and get things done?

okay, I get how I messed up.... the introverted extroverted compensate for eachother, which makes the functions I listed above correspond.

I think the balancing functions work like this maybe?

    Fi/Te
    Fe/Ti
    Si/Ne
    Se/Ni

Like, if your Ne is really strong, your Si can't be... or something...
