General guidelines for shadow types:
- the object is social expectation; the subject is the id.

-Fi => +Fi => +Ne => -Ne
Social ostracism (-Fe) is recognized (accepted). This is an important point: ostracism is a foregone conclusion; it is explicitly expected. Ostracism (rejection) leads to self assertion of one's own motives -- if society will not accept oneself, then one need not accept society and is free to pursue one's own intentions. This manifests as a "bad" attitude, with signals of rage and/or derision. However, one has not chosen to leave society; rather, one's rage will be carried out by the impression of one's own plan -- one's own path -- in spite of society: one makes plans to realize one's own potential. (+Ni/+Ne w/id as subject = ambition) Society either endorses or rejects this ambition depending on how closely it matches its own aspirations.
Shadow IEI is very INTp-like with one important distinction: it is feeling and emotion, rather than objective necessity, that drives the process undertaken.
