Expat and I both have the same first name, so we might have to duel over it with pistols.

Now I'm definitely intrigued . Probably about 5'10 or 5'11, I'm not sure exactly how tall. Slightly short of 6' anyway.

I don't like it at all. Non-innovative bullshit. It doesn't even look good by PC standards.

You bastard. I'll buy it off you for £2. With house prices going gung-ho in the US, I think it would be wise to take up the offer.

The downside is that the game is only okay as far as gameplay is concerned. The first 2/3rds of the game take place in massive jungle levels that are unbelievably gorgeous and really fun to play, but once you hit the 2/3 mark it becomes a generic action film about aliens that are annoying to fight and unsatisfying to kill, and the game loses much of its appeal. I've played through the first several jungle missions three times since beating the game, and I always stop once it gets the the aliens.

But yeah, the graphics are beyond words. Even Joy, who doesn't give two shits about videogames, was really impressed by how real everything looked.

Did you ever play Far Cry? I loved that game, until you had to fight those fucking 28 Days Later... rip-offs.

I played it on Xbox. Interesting concept; you might've enjoyed it slightly more than Halo. But Crysis sounds like roughly the same thing, except swapping these beasts:

    And the slightlier funnier ones:

For aliens. Funny, as I was searching for those pictures, I found this:

Yeah, it's obviously the same game but with a slightly different plot and graphics that are about 1 trillion times better.

I have no idea who ashton is, but I saw him on stickam for a while, and I thought he was ENTj, fwiw. I don't think Ezra or FDG are Se dominant either. Oh well, that's Cyclops' little contribution here

Yeah, cheers for that. As pointless, if not more pointless, than glamourama's pointless contribution.

[quote=ifmd95;350380]So ESTp "calculations" are generally going to be more silent -- in their heads. because the ESTp's target is more so moving people around to get some real result -- rather than "winning" verbally? (then as you suggested, what the ESTp's verbalize will more so be aimed at feeding their hidden agenda and winning praise rather than ill feelings of "defeat".)

excpet maybe where those two things intersect -- you had mentioned VI Lenin in politics for example. and i had mentioned to Logos Ti descriptions that associate themselves with "winning" argument when Ti is coupled with beta values.

but if you're using your Ti to move things around as i said above, rather than mince words -- i see now how that verbal Ti manifestation above is indeed more likely to happen when Ti is super-id. when the "sparer" isn't particularly strong with or occupied by real Se (or the Fe hidden agenda) and they are instead focused on "global problems" and the social role (as an N and F).

moreover, i think it makes sense that someone with weak Se (but aware of it as quadra values) would have a "heightened sense of vulnerability" which "forces him into adopting a self-defensive stance" [verbally].

Ashton doesn't look physically frail -- and i've noticed a lot of beta NF's who don't (although perhaps the reasons for this are more aesthetic than practical.) but i suppose maybe it's possible to be physically strong but "vulnerable" if maybe instead of "watching your boundaries" like an ESTp (and thus being confidnt about them) -- you are preoccupied by other things, like the emotional environment -- and its long-term implications.

Ezra, maybe indeed you are just loud at times -- which would be consistent with the Se-ego "blow outs" (to get things moving) that Se types have been noted for.
    Sounds about right.

or even if you are Se super-id -- i imagine an ENTj Hidden Agenda overdone would look more like ESTp "blowouts" (albeit less effective blowouts) than ENFj "strikes". Simply because the ESTp and ENTj -- both as thinkers -- are more concerned with getting real results with the Se, as opposed to say, merely making a strong verbal appearance. I remember a Te base description noting that ETj's aren't particularly concerned with whether their actions appear logical or not. that said, i'll back-off the ENFj suggestion for Ezra.
Extraverted Thinkers or (what you may have meant to have written -) Extraverted Feelers? I guess neither would give a shit, to be honest.
