Wow. Exillerating. What an athlete.
It's great when your body feels at one with everything, which is kinda how you need to feel to do that imo.
It must be akin to the force?!

Free running? Definitely man. This looks like tons of fun, and all you need is some grippy shoes and something to jump on heh. I think the french called it parkour. I want to get some of those shoes, they've got lots of extra grip you need to fly off walls.
Why do you think they have to be istp because they jump off walls? Either way, cool.
Well, according to le wikipedia: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour)
I guess that seems pretty ISTp, but, I'd like to see everyone do this. It's good for emFounded by David Belle in France, parkour focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop one's body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency.![]()
Holy crap, I was just thinking about this yesterday.

I'm sure i've seen it in a music video, or a television advert recently. It looks pretty cool. Lots of practice tho, but fun, and those moments in mid air when your falling would be awesome
I've always liked that kind of thing, and I've trained-practiced some acrobatics when I danced. Awesome things, I wish I could dedicate my life to this kind of stuff rather than to study bla bla
Obsequium amicos, veritas odium parit
Me too man. This to me seems almost like the best method to train against a very wide variety of things, physical and mental. Also, I should mention that apperently, free running and parkour look similar but have very different philosophies. Parkour stresses efficiency above all else, but free running seems stress acrobatics and freedom of expression.
Cyclops: Looks like now we have to move to france for awhile.
I'm picturing myself jumping from a roof--and totally missing the other roof. splat.
Could do. I reckon we should move country to country and master some sort of physical technique in/of each one, wether it ninja style, samurai style, fell running style, free running style, also.. France is good for a 'booze cruise'
It's always smuggling.Booze cruise is an English colloquial term for a brief trip from Britain to France or Belgium with the intent of taking advantage of lower prices, and buying personal supplies of (especially) alcohol or tobacco in bulk quantities.[1] Within limits, this is a legally acceptable process and should not be confused with smuggling.
Or we could just hang out in a tent in the Highlands, or chill out at the Delta commune.
Here's Parkour:
Cyclops: There's nothing like finishing a long hard day with a beer or four.
The Prince of Persia must have been an ISTp.
Moonlight will fall
Winter will end
Harvest will come
Your heart will mend
Wish I knew how! Seems like a very useful skill, especially if there was a fire, or you needed to break into a castle, etc. Or if the stairs were crowded. Gives me chills just watching this! Yet they look so calm.
Hi! I'm an ENFP. :-)
Yeah that video is quite old i remember showing it to my friends. Back then David Belle was the pro at it. He was the one doing the mega jump in that video (i think it was for a coke ad or something).
That kind of thing was featured in the latest James bond. Damn it im trying to remember a film clip that has it but i cant remember the name. eek.

I know I'd do this stuff all day long if I had the ability. Thanks for posting.
My dream career would be stuntwoman. Too bad I probly missed my window, seeing that I'm already in my mid-30s.
Still, my favorite birthday present was a trip to the rock-climbing wall. The places with auto-belays are the best; at the top you just let go and glide down.
Almost as much fun as cliff-jumping, which I only got to do once last year. This year I will make more time for it.
Once upon a time, I would get to a point of alcohol buzz and then I'd likely be sneaking out the back door of the establishment and looking for a way to climb up onto the roof. I have done this in three different states, and it's also the way I came the closest to ever getting arrested (I climbed a half-built condominium tower, and trespassing on construction sites is a felony in Florida)!
One time I was wandering drunkenly around the block and climbed a huge tree in somebody's front yard ... about fifty feet up (or so), I realized I really needed to pee, so I started to climb back down, when suddenly two people came out of the house. One of them got into the car in the driveway, but then the other one stood there talking to the first for ten minutes or so. I'll never forget sitting up in that tree and watching them, oblivious, directly underneath me, thinking, "Go back in the house so I can get out of this damn tree and piss, dammit!"

My ISTp friend went to stunt school. He trained under the guy who worked on the matrix i think he said. Nothing eventuated but he enjoyed it. You should have peed on them, would have been funny!
Actually the other day i climbed along these rocks at the beach at nightime (out really far which could be considered dangerous) and i turned around to see security guards using flashlights in the distance looking out towards me. I think someone from the nearby appartment complex said i was tresspassing or something. So i climbed along the side of the rocks and avoided them. I was ready to leg it from them if they saw me. I told my ISFj mum that story and she doesn't even think i was doing anything wrong.![]()

Yeah, this is definitely rad.
I've got the physique for this type of thing, but I would definitely have to work on my flexibility first.

That was fucking awesome.
I think its quite likely David Belle is Sli. The following paragraph fits perfectly i think
"An important characteristic of parkour is efficiency. Practitioners move not only as fast as they can, but also in the least energy-consuming and most direct way possible. This characteristic distinguishes it from the similar practice of free running, which places more emphasis on freedom of movements, such as acrobatics. Efficiency also involves avoiding injuries, short and long-term, part of why parkour's unofficial motto is être et durer (to be and to last)."

Yeah the guy definitely sounds efficiency focused. I don't know, I really like it but I think i'd need someone to motivate me to do it.
...I suck.
