I think he is ILE. He reminds me of almost every ILE male I know. And the writing style is really lighthearted alpha Fe-esque. At least it was when he first created the show. Earlier episodes it was more like this... in later years it got a lot more politically correct and professional and Te-ish/less personable but the original concept of The Simpsons in earlier seasons was a lot more Fe than Te. Also just one of my weird theories but it being more Te lately might also have a little something to do with the actress who plays Lisa Simpson (Yeardley Smith), who is very ESI-ish. Probably not just her though, I'm not sure how much influence she really has but it seems like a greater influx of Te valuers and Te valuing actors over took it into something more Te than the original creators had intended.

Is is still on the air? Yes... 32 seasons wow.

Simpsons seem like an example of an Alpha show that regressed into Delta. It's not even really that Merry anymore, most of the jokes aren't funny- it's very super serious and society-ish. It didn't used to be this way- if you are as old as I am ((and yeah that's too old)) you'll remember it just being so different and more Fe valuing.

First 10 seasons or so are the best imo. Anything past that is pretty meh

The original team just left over time and got replaced with less talented people who took a new direction. Might not be that type related. Usually such creative projects are made by people who are very passionate about an idea. As the staff changes, so do many creative directions, usually not for the better.
