That's my mum's dog "Lil", she's a little tard! She's kinda cute though, in a picnic kinda way. Deliciously ugly. Mum liked it, so I put it on her wall for her
Thanks for the compliment

Some pictures I took last night... Most will remember this place from a thread I posted before. Yesterday I went out and it got dark on me so I didn't get too many but I got a few that were worth a crap, even got to play with some more night photography... though I've found that it's just guesswork to focus in on anything since I can't see anything.
My friends pup...
The flash kinda screwed up any chance of post processing here...lol
Talking while I was snapping this one...lol
Then I went into my little building to take some pics of more of the graffiti that I got last time and here's a few from that. Some are the same things I snapped last time but there's a few new ones here.
Someone left this like that and I just felt the need to take a pic of it for some odd reason.
Outside looking in... the way the trees are inside it almost seems like a window with a reflection of what's outside... but obviously there's no window...hahaha
lol...
I have no idea... but it was worth taking a pic of it...
I took some of this last time but decided to do it again...
Playing with 2 pics I took... I'm far from good at editing pictures and this is actually my first pic where I really messed with layers and such.
Thought this was cool.
This pic was taken after it'd been pretty dark already... one of the only ones that came out worth a crap.
This one was pretty cool how it worked out... It was pitch black except for a very faint purple tint to the sky due to Portland being about an hour in the distance in the direction I was taking this photo of. I couldn't see anything here except for the light across the pond but decided to try taking a pic anyway. I took about 10 of them to get the focus right since I was just guessing at it because I couldn't see to focus and the autofocus wasn't going to work either. I thought it came out cool because of how the sky is. You can't really tell it was pitch black when I took it.
Werd.
It's a lab and I dunno it's name... I just called it stop-jumping-on-me-u-little-fucker.
Very cool night pictures.
The puppy is cute, yes. Probably loves to bite.
That one place looks like it'd be good for textures...
I'd like your pictures even better if the subjects were more off-center. Like the winged person would have looked more dynamic off to the right side of the picture. Have you heard of the rule of thirds?
I agree - cool:
It reminds me of "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."
And I like layers. Have you played with the blending modes?
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.
Random drawing I did a few years ago
haven't picked up a pencil since.
I know that sunsets are played, but I photographed this from my office (or, rather, from the corner conference room. I have no window near my desk) in December. It was just too beautiful to pass up.

Diese Tage, die leer dir scheinen

I use the rule of thirds quite a bit actually... just not always with pics like the ones in this thread. I would have taken that alien pic to one side but there really was nothing else on that wall that would have made any difference.
and as far as blending... I haven't really even tried it yet...

I used to have lots of short stories that I'd written, but I burnt them all to prevent someone finding them. I kinda of regret it now. I could find some very short stories that I wrote when I was 5, if you wish. And also some drawings.
I got sick of looking through my photobucket (there's 46 pages for fucks sake )
there's also this though...
@ Goat - I like that circular design thingo

^ I like that
Yeah, I'm going to post my clone here.
I'm so excited about it. Well it's not a clone of ME, but it's mine.
And it's not really a clone, but a giant life size thing of my friend.
But I love it so far and I will post it when I'm done painting.
ahhhhaah so excited.
Hmm... well, since you asked...

Not all of those are purely my work, but they're more my work than not.

Nerdier than a robot? Oh, my.
This weekend, two small girls of close relation to myself inspired me to start playing more with my tablet. So, to break up the monotony of the forms and filings of today, I made this (in PS, from a bowl on my counter):
It's a little wobbly and malformed. And the shading is kinda flat. But it's my first "real" attempt at digital painting.
(If any of you like, I'll be more than happy to post the drawing that encouraged me toward such enjoyable efforts.)

Yes, I'd like it if you posted the drawing that encouraged you to such efforts.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.
