that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.
She is the backbone of the Obama campaign. I cannot find the article now, but she more so than any other is the person who Barack listens to the most. If Barack is an EIE, my suspicions is that she is either an LSI or ESI. Her recommendation to Barack was to not over think things and to listen more to his heart, feelings, and convictions, so I am uncertain in this matter as to whether or not this is an ESI giving advice about "ethical" matters or if this is an LSI giving affirming "logical" assurance of the individual's ethical abilities.Originally Posted by discojoe

Te/Fi valuing works better I think. ESI might work- I think Obama was IEI-Fe and she was his benefactor perhaps. Obama as a president was really... he didn't do much of anything and sort of just maintained the status quo in this incredibly boring way. If IEIs get political power that's often what happens if there aren't other Betas to mobilize things better. And a lot of Gamma politicians probably too easy take advantage of some of IEI ideals as well- since IEI is kinda 'caught' between Beta & Gamma.
Obama made some people 'nicer' though- which is stereotypical of IEI. Nicer but also useless and boring.
