He HAS to be an intuitive. My bf (LSI) has very little patience for his movies, though I made him watch "blue jasmine" in theaters with me. He thought it was pretty good bc the female lead reminded him of me lol.

My bf's friend who is IEE male plus almost every IEE female I know say they love Woody Allen. NTs esp love "whatever works." I think the lead character in "whatever works" is based on woody allen, and that lead character is total NT imo.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

That's strange, on socionix gallery, they had him typed under INTj.

From what I remember, the argument was actually won in terms of typing him under INTj; the version of INTp was acquired from one user over-thinking his false conclusions.

Whether or not you believe he is an INTj or INTp, the possibility of him being an ENTp should be eliminated as he doesn't normally have moments of definite "positivism"

Dude is a pederast. Fuck that guy.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

no way LII, this man is probably Te quadra and not Fe dual-seeking. ILI and possibly EII seem like good options.

Yeah Fi quadra fo sho. His movies are basically dissections and quasi-parodies of relationships. I doubt an LII/ILE would be all that interested to tell you the truth.

He once said his soul mate is Scarlett Johansson. Makes sense seeing how she has starred in several of his flix.

ILI was my initial impression based on the films of his I've seen -- blue jasmine and magic in moonlight both seemed like gamma commentary on beta, and midnight in paris delta -- but I haven't completely ruled out LII, though watching this has me leaning more strongly towards the former. he's very blithe in this unkempt, nonchalant way that doesn't really resonate with Fe dual-seeking or Si-valuing in general, overall he seems to just retort and move on, making relatively odd comments not so much for emotional effect as just communicative substance, like the interviewer is intruding without ever fully overstepping his boundaries. LIIs, even in their most eccentric moments, still seem to maintain the Fe 'wavelength' if you will, their more novel/outlandish expressions tend to be part of a deliberate attempt to incite the interlocutor... I don't get the sense that allen cares in this way, but I could be wrong.

I thought LII because of his meta-joking, touching the 4th wall in his movies. But also he seem to value Fe.

I always thought ILI-Te. Lots of cynical jokes where he predicts the outcome of things a witty manner. At least in his movies, that is true, I have read he is an entirely different person in life and that he takes on a persona for his films.

The "but" at the beginning of your second sentence threw me off.

It was like you were saying hm being LII and him valuing Fe they were contradictory things.

He is annoying to watch, my blood pressure is spiking just watching the guy talk. Gives off this wishy-washy plasteline anxious vibe that makes me want to rip my hair out.
