man, i don't believe in such thing as a temperament of a TYPE anymore. i've just been too long at studying correlations with transactional analysis. and i came to a possibility (bigger than two people sample study needs to be undertaken) that each block has it's own "temperament". and so the average temperament is what you see basically. in fact, i could even argue each function also has it's own "temperament".

also, if Khamelion is really ESFP, your data as ISTJ MATCHES pretty well. as well as that, i know two people already exactly like you one of whom confirmed that ISTJ description really does make sense to him. his two best friends in the whole factory turned out to be INFPs. and he is not an ESTP because he does not look or act like an ESTP, unless possibly a sensory subtype. perhaps perhaps you are an ESTP afterall. but right now, more fits for ISTJ than for ESTP.
