I'm not sure common decency and good manners are the same thing. Seems like good manners are a step beyond common decency. Some of what I hear people saying sounds more like good manners. I don't know. Semantics I guess.

yeah, that's why I actually pointed it out that I see a lot of things as common decency that some would construe as something else or, like you said, good manners.
i'm not sure what it was about so i won't say anything. note that i'm not pro-laissez faire capitalism. far from it.
the only thing i remember is my argument with cogsci, who is braindead. no matter how stupid he is, agriculture is still not feasible in the desert.
