It is a big joke in Mexico, that. At least three people threaten to eat her each day. Also seems to me a big selling point for tortilla vendors who think that I will want tortillas to eat my dog with.Originally Posted by implied

subterranean: i've heard that pudding called plum pudding in the US. my dad makes it for christmas with a hard sauce, it's awesome. it's made with suet, which sounds gross, but it tastes just great. is this what you're talkin about?

Yes, I believe that's the same thing - but the ones my family have usually have raisins instead of plums - but thet all have the same basic recipe, they just use whatever fruit.Originally Posted by Blaze

I did the cranberry sauce, as I usually do. This year was the first time it's ever come out bad.

We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,

What a horrible meal. One slab of dry turkey and some celery sticks. Didn't even have cornbread. Wtf.

oh yeah baby! This is the best part of Thanksgiving... no wait turkey, as much as you can eat!
well the organic free range turkey cost me $60. and i did the whole brining thing the night before. the brining was prolly a good idea since the turkey wasn't dry. but to me, it just tasted like any old turkey, so next year i'll save my money and just get a butterball.
now i have tons of fattening leftovers.
but the meal was a success...better be for 6 hours of prep! lol
