Have you ever thought that maybe people are comfortable with their typing? That they don't need you following them around telling them how they don't value this and how they don't value that? You're pretty full of yourself, you know that? I'm honestly going to put you on ignore soon if they don't ban you.

Well he is interested in the peculiarity of his sharply changing feelings, but he is probably not as interested in finding out what made him angry and react with rage in the first place. We might react with hostility, contempt, rage and the intent to derogate and humiliate whenever we feel humiliated and our pride has been hurt by others. What makes us react in such a way is the straight law of retaliation. With others having the ability to hurt us and our pride, by returning the damage in kind (often in a way that is quite ludicrously disproportionate to the actual harm done), we might feel that the tables have turned.

Regarding the OP, to be more accurate, your anger level doesn't go from 1 to 10, your expressed anger level goes from 1 to 10. Also, maybe your conscious anger level. But the real anger level proceeds in steps, I assume?
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

Your anger levels have nothing to do with socionics type. It has everything to do with something you had told me about yourself a while back which I will not comment about openly, but you should know what I'm refering to.

I get irritated, and it comes out in flashes, seemingly out of nowhere, but I don't go into a blind fury or anything like that.

. I think my emotions are kind of broken though. Sometimes, I start blocking them off, until it's just this background noise I'm holding back. The connection between them and me doesn't work very well, out of tune or something. Sometimes, when they get too far out of reach, I get concerned that I don't actually have a heart at all. I know that's not completely true, only because there's still something hanging around, I just can't tell exactly what it is. Could be anger, or sadness, or who knows what. Something.

Oh oh, she's definitely Beta; she wooped out the Fe and you took it

Unfortunately, I couldn't offer you the same Squark, I apologize; instead, I stared at your comment not really knowing what to do. But you know I care about you.

I guess Fi and Fe emotional support are very different from one another.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
