No, but I'd say that Te types are more dynamically exchanging information and facts, whereas Ti type are concerned about accumulating it in relation to the larger system in place that they see. So Ti types are more concerned with the why? and the Te is picked up in the process of trying to figure it out.
I agree with both Ms K and Logos.

Te types tend to accumulate facts because they need to constantly cross-check what they do, or what they think they know, against the external world - that is "what works" as well as "is that also so according to your observations?" as well as "does that work in practice" as well as "do the available sources confirm that information"? Etc etc

However, of course, Te is not facts as such.

I think so...maybe we could have more Ti types comment.
    I think so too.

When I met Expat, he explained that a good way to see how your 7th and 8th functions manifest themselves in you is to look at your hobbies. How do they relate to Fi or Ne? If they seem not to, try interchanging them for Fe and Ni (remember that for a long time i.e. before I was on this forum), you thought you were an IEI, so this is perfectly plausible.

Fear not, the great wizard will give a you an in depth interpretation! For a small fee of course.

    - read

Hmm, well it's interpreting stuff, you can't really read without understanding what you have written, so I'd say a rational function.

    - make stupid computer programs

Uh, I love doing that! Except that now I'm in college where I have to do that for class so it lost all it's fun so I no longer do that . Well, hmm, you can't really be doing computer programs without understanding what you are trying to accomplish so I'd say a rational function.

    - paint shit

I must admit, an intersting hobby. The idea of painting shit never really occurred to me. I guess if you enjoy doing it.... anyway, well you can't really paint shit unless, no wait, yes you can, irrational element.

    - play sports/dance

Well, that is pretty straight forward, that is physical activity, so it is sensing.

Ok now, the great wizard has spoken!... now to negotiate the matter of that little fee. Will that be cash or credit? (I'm open to a trade as well. In my favor of course . I have some cattle I've been meaning to get rid of, do you happen to own a car?)

Been thinking about this... I believe is working for me when it restrains my normal impulse to say... declare my undying love/lust for a guy who currently has a girlfriend.

I consider it to be a sort of indulgence as I tend to jump around from savegame to savegame, thinking "what if I was an SLE mage?" (I'm totally serious, I give my characters sociotypes and I am actually working on a mod that adds sociotype as a factor in determining stats at character creation and also the disposition of NPCs, maybe even dialogue options if I'm creative enough...
As sick as it sounds, I'm the same way. In games like that where you create characters, I often spend more time doing that than actually playing the game. I always think of it like a writer, or a psychologist, but I always craft their personalities and life stories in depth, like what would they be like if this happened to them, what kind of person would this make them, what would they want or need, how would they change? It's something of a creative outlet, I guess. Also a huge blackhole of my time, as well.

I was thinking more along the lines of archetecture... I don't know... I loved that game too but I sort of spoiled it once I got too into the editor. I started filling up a room with that killer gem (the one that I think there's one of, on the bookshelf in the magic guild in the one town) anyways, it was the only one that would hold a level 30 monster spirit (the ones you find around those ancient castles) and hence allow a decent amount of spells/strengths to be enchanted onto an item (it's been awhile so you'll have to excuse my lack of terminology )

anyways... yeah, good game... probably the last one I played that I thoughly enjoyed and got obsessive with.

It's an argument for > and an argument against the general "harmless" nature of Alpha as I see it.
I don't see how it's but I see the it not being as it is a static code of conduct. And why not for example?

You mean the grand soul gem that you steal from Galbedir in the Balmora Mages Guild when you do Ajira's quest to put a fake soul gem in her desk? (I hope you carry a scroll of Ekash's Lock Splitter when you do that quest so you can get the enchanted scrolls and items from her chest at the same time ) There are more of them but hard to find. The soul gem which is truly unique is Azura's Star, you get that in the Daedric Shrine quests.
lol I stole it long before that quest... in fact I think that was one of the problems I ran into later on in the game, I'd already stolen everything... also I couldn't walk through any of the towns because they all hated me. But it didn't matter 'cause I had levitation perminantly enchanted into something so I just floated above everybody

BTW you must truly be geekin on that game if you know all these names

Didn't you join the Thieves Guild? I always join the Thieves Guild no matter what because.... I'm obsessed with amassing wealth, and sometimes I try to do so in front of guards, heh.
I think I got stuck in a scripting loop or something because no matter what I did they still hated me... I'd come out of jail be attacked by guards

Telvanni is most definitely Beta. Smacks aristocracy from every pore.

    - play sports/dance Fe, Se, Te
    - paint shit Si, Fe
    - make stupid computer programs Ti, Te, Si, Ne, Ni if you are doing mental simulations of things in action (emotional expressions in time) in the process
    - read you name it
The sets are not significantly overlapping, I'm afraid. There must be a common factor which hasn't been enumerated.
