The basic belief of LaVeyan Satanism is that no man should let any authority be above himself, yet it imposes rules that violate plenty of natural human instincts, or at least some people's inclinations to "right behavior." To me, imposing strict rules on myself that violate my natural impulses goes against the very principle of letting no man be an authority over me.

For example, LaVey says that, if a man is in your home and he behaves in a way that you disagree with, you should be cruel to him. Me, I'm not really a cruel guy; I wouldn't feel any need to taunt someone out of my house for spilling wine on my carpet or acting out of character because he/she is drunk. I can tolerate people I don't like, and I actually have the grace to realize that people can bring something to the table even if I don't like them; I'm not a fucking isolationist.

LaVey also says to not offer one's opinions unless they are asked for. To me, this is the epitome of intellectual cowardice, and since I live truly for myself, I'm not going to hide my opinions because some guy who decided to make a religion for assholes

So, okay, Satanism isn't inherently hypocritical for EVERYONE. I agree with it's basic motivations, but I don't think it holds true to its own principles. If you happen to naturally hold the same beliefs as LaVey, more power to you, but I don't think there's many out there who came up with this shit before they ran into LaVey to tell them what to do, so in my book they're pretty much all intellectuall cowards and self-subordinating hypocrites.

If you can decide yourself what to do and you have a lot to do then it doesn't get boring that easily. However often times at work I have to do tasks which I personally consider useless and waste of time but some procedure requires that they must be done.

People complain about this all the time, but maybe you're simply not challenging yourself enough? I don't think it's possible to feel bored and difficult at the same time. If you can't feel at peace or really happy, and the only alternative is being bored, maybe you actually need MORE problems in your life.

There's a lot of whole shitty things to fix if you just look! Come and save my piece of craphole town while you're at it...

ER. Nevermind. I read that part 'it's not boring if you can choose for yourself.' I agree, which is why I think having a boss or even a supervisor is pointless.
