You're already in a relationship with an INFp or just getting into one?

INFps love cuddling, kissing, friendly butt slaps, and cheesy romantic stuff. As long as they think you really love them, and are trying to show them how you feel, they will feel appreciated. The lovey dovier, the better.

We INFps sure must be a popular bunch. There's actually quite a few threads with relationship advice:

I'm too lazy at the moment to create a whole guide to INFp relationships... perhaps we could sum it up thusly: love well, love deeply, and embrace who we are. You should get the same in return.

I must be the weirdest INFp I know. Can't stand cuddling and cheesy romanitc stuff. Yuck City! As for kissing and touching, I can give but cannot receive. I love knowing my hubby is around and can be in his presence and not speak (like in long car rides) and that is enough. I need him mentally but not physically. But I'm not normal.

Actually your description sounds more like ESFp.

@Baby: Your picture has lovey-dovey written all over it!

Artemis, that does sound odd, at least from my understand of what an INFp is like.

Baby said once that I'm INFp with qualifications. What ever that means.

Just read the INFp description here and I know I have Histrionic Personality Disorder.
Basic belief: I need to impress.
    Thinking strategy: Dramatics.

Hmmm. Who was that was voted Most Dramatic?

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how I got voted as the runner up in that category. LOL, eh well..... You know, and INFp recently told me that I'm dramatic (or that there is a lot of drama around me? *tries to recall his exact words to no avail*) but that it's not a bad thing. *scratches head* Drama certainly does seem to follow me no matter where I go...

And if someone wants a relationship with me, they must pay adequate attention to me. I don't expect it all the time, of course, but if I don't get enough I will start to question their motives and they can't expect to keep me for long if they don't try to fix things. And if they lose me... I tend to pick nasty ways of dumping them.

In other words, a "cactus" relationship is completely out of the question.
C'mon, who could NOT want to be around you as much as possible?

Well, there have been some who liked to keep me around, but I was more like a decoration they'd show off when someone came to visit.

Or just someone to fuck when they were in the mood.
What losers. I'll bet they weren't real bright either.

I enjoy it when my partner makes an effort to correct the logical inconsistencies of my thoughts (they are everpresent with 6th function Ti) so that I am able to better understand them and also myself in the process.
