At first I was like, sigh, ISTps just refuse to have any relationships, etc., this sucks.

But then I heard this lyric.

"I keep your picture on the wall. It hides a nasty stain that's lying there." LOL. I guess if ISTps are transparent like that about their lack of feelings, that's not so bad.

I think that people get so caught up in the quadra mentality and sucking up to their other members, that they forget about other dimensions of compatibility (not talking about love here though) that occur between clubs. If you reorder the subdivisions in this forum to clubs or temperament instead of quadras, I bet that the dynamic in this forum would be different.

Yes, I feel an intellectual sort of compatibility towards ILIs and LIEs even though they are in my opposing quadra. Since they are in the same club as me, we often share similar interests, especially intellectual ones. Gamma SFs on the other hand, I have a much more difficult time relating to. They are in my opposing quadra and opposing club.

I agree w/ this! Why must our Delta music be kind of boring?

Then again, I remember reading somewhere that my "concrete art" was Fe. I've found that to be true, since when I do paintings they are quite Fe-ish and Betas tend to love them (even ISTjs were like commenting on my paintings on facebook saying there was something "amazing" about them, etc). This makes me wonder if Betas make music, maybe it becomes more Fi-ish or something. I lost the link where it said what kind of art you make.

Art for me is Beta's realm. I can't connect Delta with art as we know it because it's all about Ni (poetry) and Fe. It's just their zone..
As Sereno mentioned, we can like it because those elements are easy for us to get in touch with even though it doesn't really connect to who we are.

It's weird because when I'm not with my usual company I'm Beta in every way, I listen to their music, watch their movies, read their books yet at the same time I can't get along with them when it comes to basic things. We can have so many common interest (sometimes it seems like I have more shared interests with Betas than with my own quadra) but it all has very little to do with reality.

They're many non-Beta artists/poets/writers/etc even Si ones

I've found that the fighting spirit, doing whatever it takes, is something that is acquired from life experiences which make you then realize that life is what you make of it... You might be disillusioned when you see an LSE who doesn't really have it, like I have seen . It's just sad to see that in anybody, really. Maybe it's from believing that there are forces conspiring against them (Ni matters I guess), but I don't see "doing whatever it takes" as something very characteristic of LSE when it comes to relationships perhaps.

idk if "fighting spirit" is really the essence of what i took from the song (though its an important part of it, and maybe i didn't take it from the song so much as it was actually meant to be conveyed). for me its more about the interaction between the singer and the person he's singing to, where she provides him with what seems to me like Fi and Ne and he responds to it positively. i suppose i took his "whatever it takes" less as "fighting spirit" and more as a sort of Fi superid thing, like he didn't really know what he needed to do, but he was willing to work regardless, sort of following her lead.

and sure, i've never been in a romantic relationship with an LSE but i'm sure level of commitment and willingness to work on things would probably vary from person to person.

anyway, i'm detachedly analyzing this song more than i ever would have wanted to.

LOL, I just read the lyrics of "So What?" cause Animal said in an interview that "So What…….a song that took 2 minutes to write but spent the rest of my life singing it!" The lyrics are - in all seriousness - totally Delta ST (SLI > LSE, though).
