Thanks Redbaron. I'm wondering what sort of 'SEIs' you girls hang around with. I'm not obvious about my feelings (to a fault), I'm certainly not clingy or needy (to a fault) and the SEIs I know aren't like that either. Maybe I'm shyer than most, but I'm pretty private about my feelings and don't go around with my heart on my sleeve.

I think you're confusing common courtesy with real feelings.

i find making other people think my friendliness means more than it does was a huge problem for me in the past. Now I just don't associate with people.

I found him intriguing and I loved how understated he always was. One of the great things about SEIs is their desire for independence and alone time. Keeps them from being needy or demanding in their relationships. but I guess all of this has been said before.
i'd say you described them well, and at their best.

I don't know if I know any SEI's. I'm going off what I see and hear around these parts, and most of it gives this impression of some kind of emotional psycho.

At this point I believe I've just stopped caring about it. Things will happen when they happen. If they don't then they don't and I will be a cat lady. Or madame Bijoux. Perhaps both.

To meet SEIs, hang out at gardening stores & art museums. Eventually you'll see them. They're the ones who are relatively quiet but with a very obvious expression of enjoyment & contentment on their face. You may hear things such as "oh wow....it's beautiful....I love those colors...I think I'm getting hungry" lol

    awwww, I love em.

im fixated though weary of my dual. i know i could get locked into their narcisisstic agenda. i used to want it more than anything, but now i'm commitmentphobic. i was thinking just the other day about how i get locked into socionics...i have to say, though, i still feel the strongest connection with my quadra members.

so maybe you would like keirsey's lay out for relationships a supervisory relationship he recommends. he always pairs rationals and idealists. i think those marriages can last, but are old fashioned and both partners have to be hella self actualizing.
