You just think that because you are TP to me it is hardest to understand how to accept information from my senses as the equivalent of other data.
Why is sensing stuff hard for you? Isn't it your third function?

Kind of like is hard for entp's I guess.

is my third function. I've tried a bunch of things that have helped tremendously: aromatherapy, yoga, photography. Maybe this could help you too. A family member of mine is intj and he tried yoga and is hooked. But I suspect part of the reason he is hooked is because it is mostly women in his yoga class!!

This developing your weaknesses theme is becoming really interesting for me. I've tried to stregnten them and every time I realized, that it was my 3rd block, which became stronger.

I know. My INFj friend suffers intensely from that thing. He can't go do something anywhere without me coming with him. But of course, it goes deeper than that. Two days ago at an FBLA trip, we were sitting in a hotel room with a couple of friends when they began to poke fun at him for saying random things, making stuff up, etc. Anyway, the next day when we got home, he described the feeling he felt in that situation: "I felt like I was stuck in a movie and I wanted to change it, but I couldn't." I guess it means that he lost all control over the situation and couldn't get out.

This is why I think the natural drive to to stretch and develop weaker ares.

The idea that it's easier to teach logic than emotion is compelling. Perhaps that's partly why socionics was invented? To try to help logical types improve our emotional relating?
I think socionics is an ENTp conspiracy to teach ENTps to use their more efficently and to circumvent , and also as a means to learn how to form relationships with others.

I am almost convinced that weaker functions could be developed. Any one have similar thoughts?

    "Or: But why?"

How could it ever be rational to leave one's weaknesses that one can change as weaknesses?
"To become is just like falling asleep. You never know exactly when it happens, the transition, the magic, and you think, if you could only recall that exact moment of crossing the line then you would understand everything; you would see it all"

I think of the functions in a much different way than all of you do, and I don't see weaknesses as a cause of the functions but rather of social-cognitive influences.
