You nailed Se in ILIs really well. Also their Fe polr and Te/Se valuing placements relates to them coming off as harsh and sadistic to others. And well, sometimes the ILI is actually just an asshole despite their type. Instead of just being coldly logical (which is useful and not an issue) they are also/instead emotionally cruel and try to play games to get under people's skin. Their poor Se however makes them not all that effective with that usually. Other gammas will usually overly defend them too much when they are being like this- but I do the same thing with bad boy SLEs.

Instead of just being coldly logical (which is useful and not an issue) they are also/instead emotionally cruel and try to play games to get under people's skin. I'm not so sure about this one. I've never seen it, at least. I think when ILIs are unhealthy people they tend to be more withdrawn, cynical, and stagnant rather than sadistic. They don't know or care enough about people's feelings to try to purposely fuck with them. Most of the "ILIs" I've seen behave this way were other types. LSI and LIE seem most common. Roan is a perfect example of an LSI who fucks with people and believes himself ILI.

Nice work, you were able to synthesize your understanding of a type in a simplified way that could help those still trying to understand the theory.

The description is quite good for a summary of that type, perhaps nothing more than that, but I think this is getting closer to another kind of description that is not very helpful for furthering the knowledge of those who understand socionics well.

I consider your writing ability to have vastly improved over the course of time when writing about socionics previously on this forum and your understanding of this type has probably surpassed the "average" depiction of the type on this forum.

And yeah, I think my understanding of the basics has been pretty solid for a long time, but my understanding of how types actually manifest has been steadily improving (and still is) as I collect anecdotal information in my interactions. It helps to have myself and others finally typed correctly, too.
