    Default Somatotypes and socionics types

    Quick VI trick.

    Somatotypes describe physical categories that people fit into. There are three diffrent catergories;

    Mesomorph- toned, agressive, assertive, sometimes more muscular.

    Endomorph- softer, rounder figures, "bouncy", sometimes fatter, sociable.

    Ectomorph- wirey, slender, less toned when bigger, more fragile appearence, sensitive.

    I have noticed that these types seem to correlate to socionic types. It goes something like;

    Mesomorph- Sensory + Logics
    Endomorph- Sensory + Ethics
    Ectomorph- Intuitive

    What do people think? Have you noticed these similarities as well?

    Okay, explain this to me . . . I was Mesomorph most of my life till I gave birth to my daughter and never recovered. Now I am Endomoprph (which is a real laugh . . . ethics? me?), so did my type change?

    Just messin' with ya.

    Mesomorph - Sensory + Logics (underneath it all!)

    I'm somewhere between ectomorphic and mesomorphic - more at ectomorphic, though.

    I guess you look more like an ectomorph.... one with a bit too much junk in the trunk.

    Ectomorph. I’m 5”6 and I’ve never weighed more than 111lbs. Now I’m down to 99lbs. No I don’t have an eating disorder I just cants seem to keep the pounds on. I don't know though I think I look a little mean.

    I'm the same way, Sycophant. 6'1" and only 140 lbs., putting me at an 18.5 BMI (which by the way, below 18 is considered abnormal.) I'm about as ectomorphic as you can get.

    That’s interesting Cone. I wish there were more INTp’s around here I want to know if there is much of a correlation.

    Edit: Oh, God. Just did my BMI, 16 so says the online one.

    I used to be ectomorph as a kid, thin but not tall. Now I am 5' 1'' with great effort and my BMI is 19.6

    while ectomorph body shape is thin and tall
