Can you make a link between this (above) and Socionics?

Do any of you have any theories about the link?

Is it a coincidence ... or something else?

It'd be interesting to see what reasons Sony used in designing the aesthetic aspects of the controller, but I doubt there's any relevant correlation between it and Socionics.

Well, seeing that squares, circles, and triangles are pretty much basic shapes, I say it is just a coincidence. If they had one of the feeling L things, that'd be a different story.

It is kinda funny though, there should be a Socionics video game. An ESFp attacks with Se... ! *Whap!*, ! *Pow!* etc.

You know, I was thinking that too.

I actually just picked the black functions at random. I stuck with them for consistency's sake.

Yes you do. You get a shape that resembles , except it's not upright.

In addition, what does the X button resemble...perhaps Model X.

Also the X button may represent T, F, S, N and their polarity.:

    T-S
    -X-
    N-F

When everyone knows about Socionics, maybe one of us could write a best-selling novel called:

    "The Playstation Code"
