:o INFjs are disproportionately represented among my closest friends.
I think INFjs are very choosy about who their friends are.
FWIW, I have never met an INFj I didn't like.
FWIW?Quote:

you should really look at the possibility that you are not EII. i'm not going to say you definitively aren't because i don't know you at all, but from what i have seen of you, you resemble an IEI.
I have seen some INFjs who got into people's nerves simply even though they had good intentions, especially male INFjs. INFjs have this gentle but weak look in their eyes, and they seem cold on the surface even though they are actually emotional people on the inside. As a result, they seem to be taken advantage of by people who mistook their softness as weakness and perceived their coldness as unfeeling. At least that's the vibe I got from INFjs, and I can't imagine that that's how people see me. And we are bad in logic.
@Niffweed: why did you think that I resemble IEI?
The worst thing about EIIs, particularly females, that I have noticed...
is their unusually low self esteem or self image. All of their self sacrificing can leave them with a lot of emotional baggage that they carry, some almost proud about it, but in the INFj dutiful, solemn sort of way.
I think a trouble with INXjs is that they can be very subject to other people for their sense of well being, despite their reclusiveness. It seems 'counter-intuitive' to change yourself when you are in fact waiting for other people, but unless you are proactive about things, you'll always wait. The more you wait, the more you tlak yourself into believe that there is something wrong with you and some reason to not have peace right now. (consider IJ static states looking for EJ dynamics)
So now, you see this. The choice is yours - do you become(remain?) the bitch of your polr and dual seeking functions, or do you choose to know your weaknesses and improve upon them?Quote:

The more you identify with what you said there, the more you believe it is you, and the more suffering you create because of that attachment. (So the question is, is that really who you are?) ((not to be considered in terms of socionics - that is a human, deeper question))
....But you're probably not looking for :Ti:.
I always manage to make INFj smile.
Is self esteem related to type? :?Quote:

Likewise, I'm very sensitive about coming on too strongly to people. My roomate comes on strongly to everyone... and it surprisingly works to his advantage, so maybe I could learn a thing or two.Quote:

lol that's so true :lol:Quote:
