ESTp > ENTp > anything else
You forgot ESFp.
:Se:
Anyway, not ISTj.

Oh, I don't necessarily think that Fabio is ESFp. It's just that he did think that himself for a few days, so I found it odd that he didn't include it here, that's all.
extp
Oh, sorry if that was unclear; I wasn't trying to "go against" you; I was actually just stating my opinion :lol:Quote:

You are no at all like Kristiina (ENFj).
No ESFps here to compare (unless Joy is one) but I don't see a Ti PoLR.
I guess I just have to take your word that you are ESTp :) It is probably best guess anyways based on what you have said about your intertype relations. If I'd know my own type then I could type you based on our relations :P
You do seem much more mature or something than the other ESTps, and I know Herzy's very young but you're fairly young too, and the other ESTps are more your age, right? You seem to be T>F - no opinion on Ti or Te. That's as much as I've got. LOL You do seem to have Se. *shrug*
I have no idea what type anyone is but me.
That's got to be the biggest problem with Socionics. It's too easy for people to mistype themselves and others.
Definitely, but the way to do it is how you did it :) -- in the case of you and all your family, the individual typings and relationships fit so well that it all serves as mutual double-checking. If you identified with ENFp but your husband with ISTj and he got along very well with your father who indeed seemed ENFj, something would be amiss.Quote:

Why do u include ISTj as one of your options? :?
I voted ESTp btw. I agree that you are a bit different from the ESTps I know IRL. You are more intelligent and interested in theory than nearly all of them.
i do admit that you're a bit more interested in the whole theory than i am. maybe it's because you've been here longer. i dunno if you had read the Smilex pages in their entirety, but to me it all sounded like gibberish. not that i was ever against it, it's just that i could never bring myself to read them. i think it might have something to do with the whole "difficulty-in-reading-your-quasi-identical's-writings" thing.
but enough about me. perhaps you're the only Ti subtype around which might explain the slight difference with the other SLE members. but i do relate with a lot of things you say sometimes. i really don't think you're ENTp btw. you might be ESFp (kiddin')!
I think people who have the clearest(or realistic) view of themselves tend to be able to type other people more correctly than others.Quote:

For some reason people have some notion that being intelligent and ESTp is an incompatible notion, but it's not.
All ESTps I know are intelligent. However none of them like theory except when forced to in order to achieve a goal. They generally seem to like straightforward solutions to real problems instead of theoretical frameworks which give a wider understanding of issues. I don't know if any of them is a hardcore Ti-subtype though.Quote:

I have to add here that once ESTp has mastered a theory he/she will use it in argumentation in contexts which relate to it (not like ENTp who will use theories in contexts which really don't relate to the theory at all :P). This is contrast to ESFps I know. ESFps are likely to pretty much always use "common sense" argumentation to back up their :Se:.Quote:

He would have been much happier in a field that would let him "conquer" other people, since there are limited opportunities for that as a professor. Whenever he is granted the opportunity to dominate someone, such as beating other professors out of a research grant or rising to the top of various committees he steps out of his usually lazy routine and does it with ease. I respect him greatly, but we do not get along. I also disapprove of the way he handles his affairs.
From my point of view, focusing on temperaments and how they correlate to Static/Dynamic and rationality/irrationality, it's very clear that FDG is an EP and Enneagram 7. I think that EJ and IJ types can be discounted.
So, so far, ENTp, ESTp, ESFp, ENFp.
There is no doubt that at the very least :Se: is a quadra value, if not an ego function - so we can dismiss ENTp and ENFp.
So I can only see ESTp and ESFp as likely.
the relations seem similar to what I sometimes have with ENTps. I voted ENTp. I think FDG is an ESTp who comes off as an ENTp on the forum. Therefore ESTp Ti sub?
I agree that he's clearly EP.
Thanks for the opinions, not that I had particular doubts, but still thanks :)
Anyway...
This sounds like...?Quote:
She should idealize me, and I will do everything to live up to that ideal. She should never criticize me, because that's the only way I am able to do everything right. She has to have a strong sense of individuality and indipendence from the opinion of the the "normal" people, so to speak. She should be ambitious to a certain extent. I'd like her to be social, in the sense, of good at handling people, because it can be very hard for me to request anything to anybody. She should pardon my occasional disorderliness. She should be very, very very smart, wise. She should let me take care of her and of how things are organized in the house, the clothing, etc. She should tactfully point out if there is something to get done at home, without any "order" tone in her voice. She should have a certain innate elegance. She should not attach her sense of being to the opinion of any other individual, me included. She should not be excessively negative in everyday life, because I know myself and I know that I would distance myself from such a situation. She should not be offended by my incessant wit, but conversely always reciprocate, even with offensive remarks if I exceed the limit Laughing I'd like somebody with whom I can be affectionate with; I'm very affectionate in a relationship (next to zero when not in one thought) and I dislike people that think it's "fake" or shit like that.
Most important requirement: she should never, ever tell me what to do and how to do things without me asking.
It sounds rather ENTp/ISFp (I think, I've never known an ENTp/ISFp dual pair) except this part, if I'm reading it correctly:
Quote:
She should let me take care of her and of how things are organized in the house, the clothing, etc.
Yeah, over the years I have developed I a decent sense of style in clothing, and I dislike people giving me advice in that realm; or, better, I never listen to it and always buy what I like to.
In regard to house, I mean the location/prices/so on, not so much about the interior.
ohhhhhh okay that makes more sense
Dunno, do I come across as Infantile? Maybe, if pointed out where.
I dunno.... would you prefer someone who you could tease a lot or someone to take care of you?
Lol. I can take care of my health well; at least, better than most people I know. I don't really like paying the bills though, because it's money :lol.
Oh, I've been commented mutiple times from different sources that I remind people of this moron from an italian tv show: http://it.groups.yahoo.com/group/fed...ci_officialfc/
that guy looks Ne > Se to me
You do seem to care for your health really well... that was the first reason I doubted that you were ENTj.
edited.
At least they haven't said you remind them of Mike Bongiorno --Quote:

I had never heard of him until I watched Cinema Paradiso with an Italian friend several years ago. They show the first TV transmission in the village in the 1960s with Mike Bongiorno, and my friend went "I'll be damned! So long ago?" That's the only reason I know his name.Quote:
