I think I come across differently online than visually so I'm curious what you guys will say to this. This video ended up being a lot longer than it should have, I honestly think the more interesting questions were answered towards the end.

SEE or LIE. Wonder what @Adam Strange thinks? Overall you seem quite healthy and balanced and not extreme in type characteristics. I can understand why Sol says "introverted", but extroverts can have that during introspective moments, especially those who have gone through therapy/intense self-analysis.

@Vis, With the sound off, I thought @Malandro could be either SLE or SEE, but after listening to her (for 2.5 minutes), I think she's SEE. Her eyes are just really Fi eyes, IMO, and some of the objects around her strike me as more SF art than ST functional, and her hair! Man, her hair is SEE. The silver waterfall curls! That kind of thing takes an SEE Artist to pull off. Or even to want to pull it off.

Contributing to SEE>SLE is her interest in global power politics, which goes hand-in-hand with an ILI's interests in guiding world events from behind the curtain. An SLE might be interested in power, but would simply exercise it, not read about it.

I could see her matching well with an ILI advisor.

Finally, I personally know an SEE who is both a musician by night (in bars, but not the bartender, as far as I know) and an immigration lawyer by day, because......Justice (and fun) for the People!

I trust your judgment. OP seems to be very balanced and doesn't need socionics to find other people. Healthy people can use their own instincts to experience life, and they can learn from both positive and negative experiences.

I know NeSi people would use structured methods, especially the Ti types. For Ni doms this is impossible. The typing process is an unconscious collection of Se points through a highly individualistic filter (I would have a very different feeling towards the same person compared to an ILE, because of intertype dynamic difference). DarkAngelFireWolf69 says ILIs can remember a lot of associative facts. I think the reason is they are all attached to the various individualist filters (Ni models) so they are remembered as a whole rather than bits of info (in NeSi sense they are not connected at all). I don't even know that I'm aware of these Se points until suddenly a new Ni process emerges with them.


The Ni models/filters are different from NeSi structures in that they resemble living organisms, and are timed processes (that have beginning, middle and ending), rather than the timeless, static architectures of Ne. (This might also have something to do with Reinin dichotomy of dynamic and process in ILI.) I cannot use a step-by-step, structured method because the structure does not exist beforehand. Only when I have immersed myself in the interaction with the person, having collected (unconsciously) enough Se information, can I start to "see" Ni model emerging. They can either come slowly or suddenly. With Te I can talk about the reasons why I type people this way, but they are after-the-fact justifications.


I think to type accurately with Ni method one needs to:
- have a good understanding of the theories, converting NeSi knowledge to lived through NiSe models
- experiences knowing people, self, types of interactions, comparing the Ni models with the theoretical description to check accuracy (this might be Te specific)
- during typing, allow time to pass in order to get real Ni inspiration (therefore the step-by-step method doesn't work because it's not taking time into consideration)
- be in an open, neutral mind (can't imagine IEIs being neutral so this might be ILI specific)
- trust one's instinct but also allow mistakes which are inevitable.

The main thing that prevents me from completely agreeing with SEE over SLE is my lack of Fi or understanding of it and focus on Ti. I also think I align with Beta quadra over gamma but then again, they’re the only two quadras I could see myself in out of the four. If I have Fi-user eyes, that’s really interesting.

I also like the fact that people can see Ni in me, especially after my joke in the YouTube description lol

Your explanation are very Te like rather than Ti (as in, making sense to me). Your values are closer to gamma rather than beta, to my knowledge of the system. However, we have different understandings of the system. So giving you the "right" typing without the right understanding of the system would be pointless and useless. Trust your instinct and good luck on your journey:thumbsup:

@Malandro, I don't know exactly what to type you, but I see you've gone with Creative subtype for SLE for your TIM. I think I've been around SLE-Cs and females of that subtype are tough cookies. As in, they can practically almost throw an object at you when you've merely asked them to give it to you if they're feeling angry. You don't strike me as that extreme so, if SLE, maybe something more chill like Harmonizing subtype. We'll find out in a few days I guess.

That's the first time someone has called me an 8w9 and I find this amusing. I type as 7w8 but would agree 8w9 is in my tritype. I struggled between 7 and 8 for years but settled on 7 because I'm a very 'heady' person even if the 8's lack of vulnerability and self-sufficiency is 100% me. I think if I was an 8, I'd be way more organised and less positive. Looking at my videos, I don't talk like a 7 at all though, I joked that I sound like I'm in a job interview putting on a '3 face' because all I do is talk about accomplishing my goals loool.

I think I'm very reactive but I'm not someone who loses control of my anger very often at all, instead i just express whatever I'm feeling in the moment and don't let things build to that extent. I don't like to drag out emotions and don't actually realise how I'm coming across until the other person is visibly intimated or gets upset. I said in the video I sent to DarkAngelFireWolf69 that 'I have no issue with conflict. If I have something to say, I'll say it. I get irritated but people very rarely make me angry. I'm not gonna cuss or name-call because people never get me that mad and it's never that personal. I don't think I've ever done that as an adult'. People don't want to make me angry and in most situations, people always back down if I so much as push an opposing statement. The only person who gets me angry like that these days is my teenage little sister.

I did snap at someone yesterday actually because I was told to 'calm down' and I said 'don't tell me to calm down' and the other person backed down immediately but I could see was a bit upset. It made me think about my Fe and what DarkAngelFireWolf69 would make of it because I think I'm unaware of exactly how expressive I am until someone pushes back. I've been told I am actually pretty expressive because I see myself as cool, calm and collected unless I'm excited about something or really annoyed.

Maybe I could come across like those SLE-C women you've been around, I have no idea loool

You're the first person to consider EIE lol. I assumed more people would think maybe EIE because of Fe and Se. I thought about it as possible and arguably more possible than SEE because I still don't understand how I can be Creative Fi but then I don't see the Fe Base or Creative Ni in myself either.

An EIE I know (family member) is actually a lawyer. I've noticed a lot of EIEs like to go into Law (flexing their Seeking/Aspirational Ti) and Programming (DA cognition, literally inputting commands to make something do something, blah blah - Computer Science, in my experience, is full of EIE, SEI more than any other types). Interestingly, SEEs are actually creative Fe in Model G (Fi is more of a private function for them). If you've got the time, I suggest checking out CD cognitive style vs. DA cognitive style on the wiki and seeing which one is more you.

I can imagine plenty of EIEs in law, especially here in the UK as a barrister. A stage, a platform and a group of people to listen to what is essentially a performance? One of the Inn of Courts actually has its own theatre lol

And I didn't know that actually, thanks I'll check it out! I'm new to socionics in general and even though I have DarkAngelFireWolf69's book, I'm even less knowledgeable of Model G. I completely forgot that this is one of the differences between the two theories.

Definitely, and good to hear. Another difference between EIE Ti and SEE Ti, is that SEEs natively hate rules and having their freedom restricted; they can have very high IQs but still avoid typical Ti/Logical pursuits more preferring Te/Business pursuits. Whereas EIE Ti is something they often desire help with and enjoy using and buffing up themselves; I think it basically comes down to whether if Ti is natively enjoyable or not to you, when it comes to those two types.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to what DarkAngelFireWolf69 thinks; despite what people say I think he's actually very unbiased, unlike some people associated with him that are simply out to fuck people over and trying to make a name for themselves by typing everyone they meet as IEI or whatever.

In that case, I would be EIE. I enjoy Ti pursuits and have no issue with rules, in fact I study and analyse them and suggest new ones if anything lol. Legal philosophy is one of the most impractical but interesting fields of study to me and international law is full of it. Most practicing law don't care about it for that reason. Very Ti-heavy.

What can we say about Malandro's subtype? - The most likely subtype in the DCNHsystem is the third, that is, normalizing (N).This is supported by her terminality (regular housekeeping, striving to complete dailychores, being a consistent worker) and distantness (has a good sleep, ignores conflicts,and closes herself up in case of failure).The terminality combined with the distantness gives a normalizing subtype.

Conclusion
