I don't relate very well with it though.

I had a tied score between 1, 3, 5, and 8. The lowest with zero was 2, then 4 and 9.

Tied between 1 and 5 as usual. My lowest was 2 at a 0 and 7 at 1

I meant the questions Joy, they presented some insightful alternatives that you had to chose between, in my opininon those were quite interesting and help me think about myself in some novel useful ways.

Not really, but it was less annoying than most tests because it gave me the option of not answering if neither made sense.

For me, intrusion means that I am interrupted from my thoughts or activities which I am deeply absorbed in. I want to get rid of the person/thing that's interrupting me and get back to what I was doing or thinking.

Intrusion also means to me that someone's invading my personal space or sticking their nose to where it doesn't belong. I hate being casually touched by people I hardly know for that reason. Its like they're invading my personal space or that I don't have complete control over my body.

I also don't like being asked alot of questions unexpectedly. I need time to reflect and think of a response that accurately depicts my thoughts and feelings. I don't like being put on the spot where I have to think quickly on my feet in the presence of others. Although there are some situations where I like quick thinking when I'm alone.

I also don't like it when I feel pressured to answer a question or respond. I want to respond when the time is ready and reveal something about myself when I'm comfortable and ready to do so.

The basic fear part of this for me is being overwhelmed by new stimuli. I need time to process things, especially new surroundings and people. If I don't get this time, I panic.

I'm skeptical as the order of the types seems arbitrary at best. If they have any validity, I'm probably a 5w4, but not exactly sure on that. I think wings are infinitely more reliable than arrows, however.

The order of the types is largely arbitrary I think. I think that the picture is symbolical (the circle I mean). However there does seem to be some correspondence with Jung's typology I think.

Looks like 4w5. I didn't score as high on Type 1 this time. It's always between 4, 5, 9, and 1.

UDP, what do you think jobs/education has to do with this? Like we try to fit the stereotype of a specific Enneagram type if we're in a certain field? Or certain types are attracted to certain fields?

I think I am an Enneagram type 8 or type 3. It's hard to choose. I can use charm, but my main objective is to get teamwork going and accomplish. I especially like the independence from supervisors and others that being a 'go-to guy,' and harder worker nets me.

Aahah. So strange. I'm the complete opposite. If I don't have new stimuli, I die and tend to get very unhappy. The more I have, the more tranquil I feel.

I think it's an OK test. At least I didn't end up being 6 again. I don't identify with 6 and I don't understand how anyone could. I suspect that I often end up being typed as 6 is because of Ti>Te preference.

I am sceptical of the test's value, but it worked quite well in my case:

I think this test is somewhat too short to be a reliable and valid indicator of E-type. I don't particularly enjoy the "forced choice" format of the questions either.

I thought that it was a good enneagram test, but of course it is limited when compared to socionics by virue of enneagram having only 9 instead of 16 types, so its' less disciminating.

Its 'great though to see where different types fall into the enneagram typology.

Some of the types are pretty clear (like INTJ/INTP and the Se types), others are less clear.

What do you think of enneagram in general? Does it have any value?
