Is this good music?
I don't know exactly why, but it has a therapeutic effect on me. Sort of rebooting my brain.
I think atonal music is definitely worth listening to.

I like it, but I like quite a lot of music of different genres, ok, noise "music" is one exception. It's a genre I'm very selective, because the compositions are based on different noises instead of tones with defined pitch.
Here is an example of a piece I wouldn't call a favourite of mine, just to show what I refer to.

Caution! Lower volume level before starting to play that track. It's very loud from the beginning!
Potential loudspeaker killer if volume level too high.
Honestly, I wonder who is listening to such stuff.

Ireland for the Irish.
I found this yesterday. The famous intro song from Bach's St Matthew passion in 8-bit midi style. It sounds surprisingly good, especially when the vocals enter. It's like alien angels singing. And the 3D pianoroll makes it perfect. It almost becomes even more other-worldly because of the sterile computer sound. Beautiful.

Play this at cynics whenever they act unsexy and cynical and you're good to go. Making them listen to Bertolt Brecht himself singing is half the point.
anyone know where to find a full recording of this performance?
