Upon listening to all that? Oh yeah, he ain't wrong folks. You can put them alongside "Judas Priest" and "Rainbow" as a foundational aspect of the genre we now know as Power Metal. One of my most if not the most favorite genre as a metalhead myself.
Also, Power Metal in general. Really tells feelings of despair and depression to go fuck themselves. If you're suffering from those emotions, pop some Power Metal into your playlist. By those epic solos and the influence of those stripes upon that sheet music ye shall be healed :).
