I'm not a military person, but I like these marches.

The official parade march of the Finnish army. When I served in the army as a trumpet player we played this march more than a few times. It's good. The version usually performed by the army has a base drum solo in the second part.
My favorite army music is probably "jääkärimarssi" composed by Sibelius. I think it has a lot of musicality for being a march. It is sometimes performed with a choir, but I prefer it plain instrumental.
Thanks, I just listened to jääkärimarssi and It sounds great. There are exception, but I also prefer instrumental stuff to a choir.
Another great Scandinavian march:

This Napoleonic march is good too:

It's so inspiring to listen to these marches and the ones you posted previously. There's spirit in the music. I guess that's the whole point of playing marches.
I was thinking of what other marches I like...
This is less military and more cabaret or something. Shostakovich march no 1 from "Jazz album".
In Norway they have Valdres march, it sounds more "orchestral"
I wanted to link the Björneborgarnas march that you posted earlier, but the version with the base drum solo in middle part. It's supposed to sound like cannon fire (and it does!). It's kindof cool.
Nice. I really like the orchestral Valdres march.
While we're on the subject, here are some Prussian marches I like:

This one has some silly lyrics:

They make fun of French people for getting paid with beauty products. Then they talk about the efficiency of their logistical system like typical Germans.

this is the first song i remember hearing on the radio as a kid. i'm sure it wasn't the actual first song I had heard, but it's the one that stood out in my mind evidently. MC Hammer- You Can't Touch This, is the first video I remember seeing

I listened to Tears for Fears when I was a little kid. This was my favorite.

She really like staring the camera down. I wonder what her type is.
^ @thegreenfaerie, I'm not sure what her type is, but she has some moves that remind me of an IEI-Fe that I know. Not all the time, just some times.
At the end of the second video, though, I got a Delta NF impression.
Lol. Nothing like a reality check.

Came on the radio while I was driving yesterday
Thanks for those. As a balance to those Preussian marches I'll post a march by Jean-baptiste Lully, 17:th century, French. It sure sounds French!
