I was watching that movie "The horseman on the roof", it's one of my favorite movies, adventure, passion in beautiful sceneries while the cholera epidemic in 1832. And that song came to mind, so I made that (romantically oriented) video on my mobile phone.

half the people at my job are Mexican, so I frequently listen to this lol

@DropDeadRed, I think you found an example of an LIE-ESI romance. She looks LIE to me, especially her Te-eyes at 0:27 and he looks possibly SEE at 1:00 growing fully into ESI by 1:30. Thanks!
And you made that video on your phone? Amazing.
In these secular times it's hard to know how to really celebrate Easter. Eat some eggs, ok, but more...?
Bach's St Matthew passion pulls one right into the essence of Easter with superb music.
The intro music is in my opinion the best expression of an unavoidable, haunting destiny. If I have to put it into words.

Why do we bother to stay?
Why are you running away?
Don’t you feel like severing?
Everything’s just come together at last
It’s broken, I don’t want to play
We grew up so very close
A parasite needs a host
I’m only trying to do what is best for us
Well, I never asked for this,
I never wanted this
All that I want is some time to myself
Looking in your eyes, I’m coming home
Thanks. I appreciate these hints a lot. I think that maybe I just don't like Sibelius that much. I've tried to get into his music, also because he's Finnish, but so far I haven't made much progress. But I think I should try a little more.
The only work that has really impressed me so far is his tone poem "En saga". I found it a long time ago. It has a very magical feel, and an interesting development.
If I could make you fade away
I could play the game I know so well

So nice! I'm just liking Bruckner more and more.

John Holland Sega Tunes Vectorman--F.Y.I. track in FLAC. Well, I was just listening to it, it's not my favorite track on that album and that album wasn't my favorite in my playlist.
The genesis game was actually almost as impressive musically as it was graphically.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It's Bruckner!

This song was/is just an instant pop classic

^ @Rusal, it sounds like a James Bond theme.
Especially this version, for the first two and a half minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhS9i2t8RWs

The original version is more eclectic. Fantastic vocal work and big in its ambition. Something not seen much in pop.
James Bond (maybe also Jaws?).
I’m trying to remember similar pieces to the James Bond tune heard recently and only this comes to mind: half Jaws half James Bond.
But since we’re talking Spanish pop I’m posting a metal band rendition of a classic. I'd post the video of the original song but...it was filmed in the 80s *shudder*

@Quez ah, finally someone whose taste is sophisticated enough to listen to IC3PEAK. Her new album is coming out in just a few days.
@Baboooshka @Quez
Hell fucking yeah.
@Asenath
That was the first song I heard from them. I like how their style remains consistent, I'm a bit tired of all the "experimental" stuff coming forth from artists as of late. I posted this in the Beta Quadra Song Thread but more ic3peak never hurts, again:

Yes, I know what you mean by unnecessary experimental bullshit, which mostly isn't experimental or true to the artist's explorations, but an awkward struggle to stay relevant.
Also, apparently I have a fetish that consists of the destruction of cutsie, cheesy objects by using firearms, in a gloomy setting that displays the unquestionable superiority of serious and dark theatrics, thank you.

Your dual, imo. (albeit male, so attraction may not be there (assuming you are straight))
Turkish pop is weirdly catchy.
