there are significant differences between squark who falls into one camp, and retsu/cuvinen who I perceive as lumped in a separate and distinct camp. I don't feel whatever is working against one necessarily captures whats going on with the other

squark never comes across as insecure is what I would peg it to, for example retsu/cuv always allude to the inner yet misunderstood virtue of their "directness" like they don't understand that its not that people just can't handle such a "straight shooter" its that the stuff they're saying is stupid for reasons other than how direct it is. a directly formulated truth is actually quite beautiful. squark is probably more direct in a lot of ways, and yet somehow incurs less trouble. that's the joke; all this talk about "directness" and it all comes across like a scam, which is what people pick up on. directness is not the problem, squark is direct and its not the source of issues, its the self delusion that people's inability to handle "directness" is where the trouble is with whatever is being said, which is in itself either a form of innocent naivete, or a lie masquerading as "direct" which is anything but direct, its a literal misdirection

the only similarity is both camps think they're being direct, or at least present themselves as being direct, whether they actually are is the question

In fairness, I typed myself as SEE for a joke though I guess the joke could be on me all along - I might just be a depressed, bored SEE who craves some hot, demonically evil ILI to fuck some love juice into, again and again until she becomes my personal bitch. I am also extraordinarily interested in religion, spirituality, metaphysics, astrology and a whole host of (mostly "bs") topics that don't directly relate to reality. Why do you think I ever typed as an "intuitive" in the first place? Even as a kid, I was obsessed with paranormal shit; ghosts, UFOs, mythology. So don't discount that possibility quite yet.

like and dislike is Si (i mean liking and disliking stuff in general), relating to people and relations is Fi (yes they also have good liking and disliking of people, but it is of people only, with Si it is of mental/physical states as a whole)

Si people often ask themselves would I enjoy doing this, Te people ask themselves is it worth it, Ni people ask themselves does this have meaning, Ti people ask themselves does this make sense, Ne asks what are the possibilities?
