"And act like you enjoy it. Men don't want to screw a corpse. You need to be more like me."
"I'd rather be dead."
Properly framed, the first murder committed by young Griselda (SLE-Se 8w7 sx/so) is an act of self-respect/self-reverance. In contrast, her conflictor mother (EII-Ne) represents a complete absence of self-respect and plays the game with a smile on her face. Her programming has been compromised.
The Polar Bear smothers its prey -- a snake. It picked the wrong person to slither on.

My second favorite scene. It was an unexpected resolution to the plot while trying into the theme and bringing a sense of unity to the story.

I am so glad Ridley Scott used the excerpt from Hpward Hanson's second symphony's second movement even without his permission.

[SPOILER] Inland Empire, made by the sp/sx David Lynch. My guess is that he's an ILI, but I have been doubtful of that lately. Surely sp/sx though, the use of sexuality to enhance themes of survival and characters facing nightmarish conditions (especially the succession of Lost Highway-Mulholland Drive-IE). The term "Lynchian" is really sp/sx too in a way, given that it deals with the "nightmarish aspects of an otherwise typical, usually mundane part of the day", which embodies the kind of rawness that sp/sx has.
